"However, anywhere else on the ship had no dairy free options- I mean how hard is it to put one of the main dining rooms sorbets in the ice cream maker in the buffet? Also, my daughter has a dairy allergy which we marked ahead of time, that I called and talked to people about ahead of time, and yet we get there and no one can deal with it, and there is no dessert option offered to this child except fresh fruit...."Read More

Vista Disappointment

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Vista

This ship had the slowest elevators i have ever seen. Had to take stairs most of the time. It was supposedly remodeled recently, so you would think it would be faster not slower. The service in the buffet was horrible. We had to chase down someone for drinks everytime except once. The housekeeping staff was AMAZING though. The spa staff was wonderful also. Just very disappointed in the over all ...

I never write reviews, but I feel as though I need to for this ship. We went on the Carnival Vista for our daughters Senior Trip with 9 of her friends. We also cruised with their families. We have been on 16-17 cruises. We have been on 2 Carnival ships when we first started cruising. We didn't hate the cruise, but decided Carnival wasn't our thing. The others cruise lines we have been ...

This was our first cruise in about 10 years and we had both kids and older adults with us. We all had a great time at each port and I’d recommend the shore excursions we did through carnival. We had no problems getting on and off at each port- seemed organized and quick. We enjoyed all of the entertainment team organized activities we did on the boat, especially the trivia games. The family feud ...

Party cruise...?!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

I went on this cruise with my family, we are first time cruisers, and this experience left us discouraged and very disappointed. Entertainment was lackluster. Sea days were mostly boring for me and my husband. If you're not a drinker/partier you will find there is not much this ship has to offer really. The pool areas are silly. One small pool, in the middle of one huge crowd. The pools are also ...

Had a suite room had a tub only no shower. Very disappointed! We are in our early eighties and climbing into and out if a bathtub not safe or easy for seniors. Luckily we had a decko drain along the tub on the floor and our Room steward brought in a handicap bathroom seat and we took our showers beside the tub right out on the floor. The other complaint on all ships seems to be furniture ...

My first cruise ever and I never want to cruise again… at least on carnival. 600 staff members short, and about 2k too many people for the ships size. My family and I ate in the main dining room on Monday night, and I had the worst steak I’ve ever had in my life. It was halfway to being leather. I would never recommend this cruise line.. or at least this ship. Do some research before you book, or ...

I've been waiting about three years now to be able to experience Carnival Vista. I decided to take my family on a Christmas Cruise because I felt that would be the best time for us to make memories, as well as take advantage of the general holiday cheer that's typically within the air. Carnival Vista as a Ship and a Crew was amazing, however my experience in relation to its guest in wheelchairs ...

Great ship, great time BUT....

We have been on the smaller ships like Paradise and Pride that go out of Tampa and we decided let's take the ride across the state to Canaveral and go on a larger ship. We choose cruises not for the ship but for the destinations and having never been to the Dominican and Turks and Caicos, we thought it would be a good itinerary which also included Nassau.Embarkation was a lot easier than I could ...

Family Harbor Hell: a Toddler Mom’s Nightmare Cruise

A decade ago we always had great experiences with Carnival… With toddlers aged two and three years old, we haven’t traveled out of the country since COVID and couldn’t wait to take our dream cruise to Turks and Caicos, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. We splurged on a Family Harbor suite, knowing we would be in the room for naps and in the room again for bedtime at 7:30pm and wanted to ...

My wife and i and sister-in-law chose the vista because it offered a back-to-back cruise option out of port everglades. We had just finished a fantastic cruise on royal caribbean's wonder of the seas which ended the same day the vista sailed. • the vista was overcrowded, had overall poor food quality in the buffet and food quality in the main dining room was just okay • we had booked evening ...
