Cruising Carnival

I chose this shop because we went on it in march 2017 and we had a blast. We (4) took a 8 day southern to aruba etc and we had mike as the cruise director. He was amazing so we came back and this time we have matt. Personally i enjoyed mike as a cruise director better. We saw mike all over the ship dressed in different funny memorable outfits. The love and marriage game was better last year. The ...

1st time on Vista with 20+ prior Carnival cruises.’ Ship: really liked the decor & changes Carnival has made. Very cruise themed beachy feel. Havana area is a nice addition just not enough cabins! Serenity is the largest we’ve experienced but still not enough room for sea days. Spa is smaller than on Magic & noisy while the gym is huge. Ship only seemed crowded on sea days. We especially ...

We have cruised on the Pride but wanted something bigger and newer and offering more to do. Entertainment was disappointing although the choreography was excellent. Some of the voices were not good. Loved the imax movies. Havana cabana met all of our expectations. Crew was friendly and service was good. Enjoyed the ports although we had been to all but Grand Turk before. For anyone that has ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and because we wanted to see what all the rave was about with this new ship. This was our 5th cruise with Carnival. We sailed out of Miami. The ship was nice and new. We had a deluxe ocean view which was just fine because we didn't and don't spend much time in our cabin. The ship was easy to get around and i was happy not to have to walk through the ...

we chose this cruise for the stops. out of the 16 of us that went 8 of us would not go on that boat again. the handle to the door on the balcony was very hard to operate. the service at most of the outdoor and casino bar was slow, it regularly took 20 minutes to get a drink when sitting at a machine or table. seemed like on sea days one of the buffets was always closed and the lines were long. red ...

I chose this cruise because we've only sailed with Carnival once before and it was on an older ship. It was our first cruise and we enjoyed the experience, so we thought we would give Carnival's newest ship a try. We had a good time, but were underwhelmed. I was hoping for more from Carnival's flag ship. Pros-- The internet packages were reasonable, affordable, and above all--they actually ...

This was our first Carnival cruise and we were a bit hesitant, thinking this was the Walmart experience. Embarkation A Embarkations was super fast. We received a text alert that one gangway was not operation and expected significant delays, but only 10 minutes from curb to ship. The ship cards were immediately available at your stateroom. Décor: B First impression was the atrium ...

it was a present for my wife who just retired. We decided to give carnival another try and glad we did. it was the first time in five years we sailed with carnival. The embarkation was the smoothest i have ever did on my 11 cruised. i was told the online check in was the key. they didn't even have to take a picture of us as the took the image off out passports. i guess the image was close ...

Past Carnival guests, with a handicap person's perspective

We had just about given up on a carnival cruise lines, BUT thankfully booked on the Vista and my faith in carnival has been restored! It is a relatively new ship, nice decor, light colors, inviting for conversations. This is not a lavish ship with glass elevators, fancy fixtures etc but very welcoming. We liked that it was open, friendly and clean. Our room was perfect for us. Handicap ...

Wanted to sail on Carnivals flagship. Enjoyed the cruise first the good.. So much to do, thrill theater was a blast as well as the sky ride. Has all the eating venues, Ji's Ji's Asian was wonderful and well worth the $15.00 up charge. Crew was friendly and did there best to take care of us. The Ledo market place is huge and decor is very nice. The Cons the atrium has zero wow factor, Carnival ...
