This is a cove balcony room. It is a cheaper balcony than the regular balcony rooms and we enjoyed it. There is a bit of noise above at times as there is an atrium area above the room. We didn't find the noise to be a significant problem. We also use a gray noise generator to help drown out noise. The room and balcony was efficient for our family of four. I would get it again. The life boats above the balcony do not obstruct views. You can see the bottoms of the life boats but they are above the ceiling. These balconies are very private. Read Less

What a hidden gem! This cabin was a little treasure. For the price of a tiny, dark interior cabin we got slightly more space, a window looking out over the front of the ship and a unique location right under the bridge. We did feel the most movement of anywhere on the ship in our cabin, but it was only slightly more movement than we felt in the aft main dining room. It was only noticeable during a thunderstorm one evening and during high winds coming back from Curacao (loud bangs from waves and definite rocking, but it was part of the adventure). I enjoyed going out onto the deck to watch us pull into ports. Read Less

I booked these cabins as the novelty that they are- an interior with a large window that was not considered (or priced) an ocean view. Even though it has been a long time since I booked an interior cabin, I found that 7206 to be very small. There was about a foot of space on either side of the bed- about the width of the nightstand. The window was at the head of the bed, so you couldn't really look out without standing on the bed. Both nightstands were equipped with a lamp, a switch to operate the main lights in the cabin and adequate storage. With 2 of us we stored our luggage under the bed because there was no other place to put it. At the foot of the bed was an empty refrigerator, the TV and some shelves. You no longer get an ice bucket, you must request ice from your cabin steward and he will bring you the bucket. Our steward was good about keeping our bucket filled. Adjacent to the TV was a vanity with lighted mirror, one drawer with a blow dryer, 2 outlets, 2 USB ports and a stool. Next to the vanity was the closet with the safe, 2 shelves, 3 drawers and hanging storage. The storage was okay for 2 people as long as no one is a clothes horse. The bathroom is a standard Carnival arrangement with a shower curtain, rain/ massage shower head, shower gel and shampoo in dispensers on the wall. I was surprised to note the absence of the toiletries basket- the only thing given was soap. Cabin 7208- our daughters stayed in this one- was very spacious and configured differently due to being on the end. It has more shelving over the vanity area. It's window is accessible. A couple things of note: I was less than impressed with our cabin steward- we never got our robes, though they were in cabin 7208. I don't know what happened, but on the second afternoon somehow, my shampoo was watered down to the point of being unusable. It was newly refilled before I left home. And in 7208, my daughters returned to their cabin, after being ashore all day, to find that some one had a BM in their toilet and did not flush. Also, on our last morning, we were leaving to go to breakfast and found that the door locks had been deactivated and we could not lock the doors. So we had to leave our luggage in our cabins accessible to God and country! Needless to say it was a very quick meal! Read Less
