The cabin was quiet, well lit and big enough to rest, change clothes, shower, and sleep. There was not enough space for two people to hang their clothes in the one closet. There were 3 drawers and 3 shelves in the other closet. The bathroom was the typical size for Carnival. The shower was just big enough to get washed, there was one sink and three glass shelves on either side of the mirror. No medicine cabinet. Carnival provided 3 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 wash cloths. The beds were comfortable enough for me. The TV was mounted to the wall and had no way to adjust its direction. The area was quiet and the room steward was very good. Read Less

The cabin is fairly straight forward. It runs small. The soundproofing was pretty good. But, Carnival is a party boat, for the most part, so you will hear people. The air conditioning worked very well. But, like on our last cruise with Carnival in 2013, my wife and I both got sick on this ship. The maintenance people were changing the air filters throughout the cruise, so I don't know if there were issues, and that is why they were doing it. But, we both got upper respiratory infections. One of the best aspects was a refrigerator. It is the static-condenser type, so you need to pack it with stuff to keep it cold. But, it was great to have! Read Less

Our stateroom was very comfortable, and our attendant was kind. I was told by our booking agent that certain interior rooms are larger than others, so see if you can get hold of one if you're selecting an interior cabin anyway; the size was more than enough for two people, and the bed was LARGE! A few nitpicks about the cabin... The electricity does not work unless you have your S&S card inserted in a slot by the door. As such, it's challenge to charge electronics while you're out and about. We got around this by occasionally leaving my boyfriend's S&S card in the slot and taking mine while we were out. In addition, the TV is "not an interactive TV" in the words of the Guest Services desk; even though they have HDMI inputs, you will not be able to make things function, so leave your gaming systems and Chromecast at home. Cabin furniture included: Small fridge cabinet with shelves next to them; large wardrobe with hangers and space to hang gowns on one side, and shelves, drawers, and a safe on the other; king-sized bed; two sidetables with storage and lamps; couch; vanity with lighted mirror and drawer storage (hair dryer in drawer); stool; table. The table tended to be a nuisance, ask your stateroom attendant if it's possible to remove it. We moved it to the end of the bed so it wasn't just slamming against our shins the whole trip. The bathroom was small, and might have been a problem if we were larger people. There are three glass shelves on either side of the sink for storing toiletries, but not much room for storing anything inside the shower. Inside the shower, there is a retractable drying line (which did nothing to help dry our wet swimsuits), and a dispenser with complimentary shampoo and body wash. Read Less

We had less room in our cabin than any other room we have booked, except perhaps the Holiday way back when. There was one less hang up closet than usual, so harder to arrange the clothes we had brought for an 8 day cruise. There weren't any lights around or above the mirror at the desk, so not practical as a makeup mirror. With 2 people sharing a cabin, that has always been a plus and present on all other ships. We did see a few small roaches and ants in the bathroom....we killed them. Yuck! On the last few cruises with Carnival, the cabin boy starts to come into the room as he is knocking and saying "housekeeping". This was no exception. You would think Carnival would train them to knock a couple of times before opening the door? Our cabin was kept clean, and the ice bucket filled. Read Less

Edis was our room steward. He and his assistant (I don't remember his name; but, I believe the young man was from Indonesia - he celebrated a birthday during our first journey in October on the Vista) were most attentive, respectful, and professional. Both gentlemen always greeted us by our first names, smiled, and were ready & willing to accommodate each of the cabin guests assigned to their area. Service was most prompt and efficient. Hats off to excellent team players. Read Less

Great cabin, good location, big TV, channel options. Only problem was, the lack of closet space. Only one hang up closet and one shelf type with drawers and the safe. All rooms have an icebox.
