We had a Havana Cabana room on deck 5, 5213. The room was very nice and the patio area was pretty cool with the seating area and fence. You really got to get to know your neighbors. There is an annoying rattle in the window/sliding door that would have kept me up all night if I had not brought my ear plugs. There is occasional debris from the balcony rooms above on the patio. The access to the Havana Aft area is a good deal. However, you pay extra to have this area to yourself and people that did not pay to use this area were constantly there. People were issued I.D. bracelets and did not wear them. The doors on the deck were suppose to be locked during the day and accessed by Havana Cabana swipe cards only, but they were never locked. Not sure if I would pay the price again, but it was kind of cool to do it once. Read Less

Since my wife and I were cruising alone for the first time in a long time….I decided to splurge and book a Havana balcony cabin and am I glad I did!! We had cabin 5239 which was closest to the pool area…very convenient to everything! Had 2 options to get to our cabin…main entrance and the balcony/porch entrance…you get a special access card allowing you to go into your cabin through balcony door, Great option and saved a lot of steps to the pool and bar!! Only wish they had more comfortable seating on your porch area. Swing seat was great…other pieces of furniture they can throw overboard…not comfortable or very practable. Our Room steward Lawrence was visible and engaged with us daily. We opted for morning room service ….He gave us a choice if we wanted both morning and evening service. It felt like we had our own Butler at the pool area. Our Bar Server Julio constantly stopped by and chatted and took care of our drinks throughout the cruise. Never felt crowded…always had a nice seat anywhere in this dedicated portion of ship. Saw very little non-Havana passenger traffic after 7pm. It was like our own little retreat and you got to know your fellow passengers which was really nice. Once you do the Havana….you will be hooked. No crowds, quick service…and spacious area. If you want to mingle and get involved with the rest of ship…. You can do it when you want….Awesome time!! Read Less

Love the Vista! : Cabin 6436
The cabin was great. But we had noisy neighbors. The ones next door were fighting. The ones upstairs were making very loud love....every night!

Cabin was the same size as a balcony but we had the little patio/porch outside our sliding door, which was really nice. We always get a balcony on our cruise and we thoroughly enjoyed the cabana. You don't get the view as with a balcony, but the space and convenience more than made up for it. It was far more private than it seems; very few people sit out there and only those with access will walk by. The only issue is potential security issues. The sliding door locks requiring a special key card (which they give you) to unlock it from the outside (the sign/sail card doesn't open it). The potential issue is that sometimes it didn't lock despite our best efforts so you never knew when you needed the special key card. If it wasn't locked completely, it could be easily opened. Other than that, it was a great experience. If you can get a Havana cabin, you won't regret it. The private pool area is totally worth it with no crowds at all!!! Read Less

Loved our Cabin. Lots of room. Nice to have usb plugs to charge phones etc. Great patio space. Loved the swing chair! The recliners a little to slanted for us but our great cabin steward Alicia brought us another chair to use. Great to have hot tubs and pool for such a small group. Even after 7 it wasn't bad. Great location! We hardly left this area! Breakfast at ocean plaza at taste bar. Lunch at Pig and Anchor. Drinks at Havana bar or Red frog. If I wanted coffee it was close at Java blue or Havana bar. Dinner reservations for my time dining beside Java blue. Never waited. Pizza at night! Quick elevator to 10 then back to our private area! Read Less

The cabin size was typical of most balcony cabins. The outside area was about twice or more the size of a regular balcony. A swinging chair, a lounge chair and a half-lounge made up the furnishings on the "porch". There is a walkway between the end of the porch (a gate separates you from it) and the side of the ship. The walkway goes all the way around to the other side of the Havana area. Foot traffic on that walkway was very minimal, even after 7pm when the area was opened to the rest of the ship. There is a large wooden louvered or slatted door that is locked during the day to keep people out and then unlocked at 7pm to let people in. When the door was unlocked it wasn't propped open, so people rarely came through it. They just didn't know it was unlocked. shhhhh ... don't tell anyone. Oh so nice. Travelling with Children? The Havana area is boring. The kids will hate it and there is a sea monster that haunts Deck 5 at night. Take your kids and stay in the family harbor area where Dr. Seuss is. My opinion of course. Very pleased with this cabin. Read Less

PRO: Has a good space for 4 people. this cabin has two twin beds that convert to a king size bed. The couch they convert to a bed and the pull down bed. However, I recommend that for the person that will be using the pull down to be agile and small. A 6ft person will be uncomfortable getting in and out. More for small children. Definitely not for an older person to use the pull down or larger person. CON: Security issue with the terrace door - and everyone can see in your cabin - see review. Read Less
