Rooms were clean and everything was functional. Plenty of room for clothes in closets. Housekeeping personnel were all very friendly and took care of our needs. I still had to ask for an extension cord for my CPAP machine. I thought since the ship was fairly new that the rooms could accommodate a CPAP without the need of an extension cord stretched across the room, but that was not the case. Overall, our rooms were great. We had a cove balcony and this room had a less obstructed view than others (lifeboats). The room next to us (2296?) would have a fully unobstructed view from balcony. We stayed in a cove balcony cabin and were really impressed. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable (I'm a flight attendant and better than most hotel beds I've stayed in). The balcony was lovely and worth the extra money. From the outside, it looks as though you wouldn't be able to see anything from the cove balcony as it below the lifeboats, but this completely isn't the case. It's nice being low down as you can see and hear the waves hitting the ship and its a lot more private than the standard balcony rooms. It was also a great price (we paid just £50 more each to upgrade from Ocean View). We really liked the room and the only negatives we had was that there was a shower curtain rather than enclosure and only had shower gel/ shampoo in a dispenser attached the wall, rather than miniature bottles, but this is us being pernickety. The room was cleaned to a good standard by the friendly housekeeping team and had everything we needed. Another thing we loved (that I don't think RCI have) is the launderettes on every floor. It cost 3 USD for the washer and 3 USD for the drier as well as 1.50 USD for detergent. There was also a free iron and ironing board. We really liked this idea and it was so handy if you like ironed clothes or forgot to pack a few bits. Read Less

The cabin itself was fine, average balcony room. However this stateroom is right next to some service area of the ship, and there was this awful creaking and the sound of steel flexing whenever the ship was moving. It was terribly loud on the balcony, and it was loud enough to disrupt our sleep in the stateroom throughout the week. I would not recommend this stateroom for this reason. If this doesn't bother you, the location of the stateroom is good. Close to stairs and elevators, and it's location made getting on and off the ship very easy. Debarkation was super easy as well. Only had to carry our bags up to deck 3 when getting off. Read Less

This was my first time getting a cold balcony and I must say I will get a COVE BALCONY from now on. I like the set up on the Cove balcony better than the original glass enclosure. Read More

Excellent location mid ship right around the corner from the mid ship elevators and a brief walk to either the forward or aft elevators. We choose mid ship and we enjoy the open air cove balconies and this one did not disappoint. The decor in Vista cabins is very cruise like. Bed was a bit hard for our liking and we brought our own My Pillows! Great cabin great cabin steward team wouldn't hesitate to sail in this cabin again. Read Less
