Had a suite room had a tub only no shower. Very disappointed! We are in our early eighties and climbing into and out if a bathtub not safe or easy for seniors. Luckily we had a decko drain along the tub on the floor and our Room steward brought in a handicap bathroom seat and we took our showers beside the tub right out on the floor. The other complaint on all ships seems to be furniture ...
We genuinely enjoyed everything about this cruise. The itinerary was amazing. We loved all the ports of call and booked excursions through Carnival for each location.
Our cabin attendant, Pandem was amazing- always left cute towel animals and our stateroom was always cleaned and tidy for us when we returned in the afternoon
We had “your time dining” so we ate in the Horizons Restaurant and ...
Before I get too far, I want to say that we loved the Carnival Vista. Me and my husband decided to have our wedding on the Vista in Galveston and then take a 7 day cruise to Montego Bay, Cayman Islands, and Cozumel. Our wedding day didn’t turn out as expected due to a medical emergency on the cruise prior to us, so our wedding got pushed back from 12:15 to 3:30 P.M. We had gotten the call the day ...
We did a family vacation of 13 this year! The Vista is a beautiful ship. The staff was amazing!! Thoby was our stewardess on deck 2. He was absolutely amazing! The fun squad and TJ were a blast and really got the crowd involved! Thank you all for an amazing time. The ship was clean and food was delicious! Lots of great excursions on this cruise as well (Western Caribbean.) It was a great vacation ...
Rates were in our price range and everyone was so hospitable Staff amazing only thing was port stop hours are very short especially when we have excursions But overall everything else was as always perfect I have 2 other cruises set for September and next may Will try to take another before next booking hope everything is just amazing as the other ones Its something for everyone oh and another ...
Galveston is my preferred port to sail from. The Vista was newer and bigger than any ship I had been on before. I definitely got my steps in but I absolutely adored the Vista. I am sad that she is leaving Galveston but I have booked the Jubilee so I'm sure I will manage. :)
The passenger capacity was listed as 3,954, we had 4,200. The layout seemed to work very well as I never felt ...
This is my second Carnival cruise on the same ship and the Vista never fails to disappoint!
The staff was kind and helpful, especially with our party of 7. We tried all the specialty dining restaurants and the main dining hall and the service was exceptional, especially with dietary restrictions and making sure our food was to our liking.
Special shout out to Jocelyn, our Mayan Cuisine ...
I have disabilities that made me think I could not cruise. Carnival proved me wrong. My ADA approved cabin was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the closet space was accessable. the bathroom was large enough for my power chair to turn around in. The crew was helpful with every aspect of my needs. Every crew member assisted me with anything I needed and always had a smile and a friendly ...
EMBARKATION: We live within two hours of the port, so it was an easy drive. Parked at Falstaff Cruise Parking and got a shuttle to the ship. The shuttle was a bit slow to get to the ship due to road blockages from the Dickens on The Strand event that was happening. Falstaff parking was fine, but they only run one shuttle per ship in port which means wait times can be long. Upon arrival at the ...
This is our 7th Cruise.... all of our cruises have been with Carnival except for one.... that I will not name.... but let's just say we will never stray from Carnival again. We had a great time on this Cruise....really enjoyed the ship, staff, and all of the activities......there is always something to do. This is the first time we stayed in a balcony room and we loved it! -- it was amazing going ...
