We chose this as a last minute cruise. We booked an interior guarantee and got upgraded to a balcony (8201). A terrific financial deal.
The crew was nice and it was a shorter cruise (4 days) but the food and activities were not good. I think this ship is going in to be restored but they seem to have given up a bit.
The ship is a really good layout and I hope it will be restored to this ...
We traveled as a couple, and can say from beginning to end this was an enjoyable cruise! I have been on more than 15 cruises and read not so good reviews on this ship, but I have to say this was this cruise was just like any of the "highly rated" ships that I have been on. Embarkation was so easy, we parked our car directly across the street from the ship and walked on within minutes. Our cabin ...
We just got off the ship today and I would like to share my experience. First and foremost we had a blast.
Embarkation was quick and easy.
The cabin was clean and the stewards were our friends by the end of the trip. We found this to be the case for many staff. So the shower had a dispenser with shampoo and shower gel. I had a small bottle of conditioner from a recent hotel stay ...
We chose this cruise for both the itinerary and for the low price. In retrospect, I think we would choose something different next time. With Key West's stop being just a few hours in the early morning, I think we all missed out on a lot that the town has to offer. Cozumel, we didn't even get off the ship, instead choosing to lounge around and enjoy the solitude and empty spa!
Before I get ...
We chose this cruise because it was the same itinerary from the same port we took on our honeymoon 25 years ago.
Embarkation/Debarkation were both very smooth. Quickest on/off the boat we have had. Carnival's new procedures for priority were amazing. We were on the boat in probably 20 minutes including security, and off and in the uber in 15 or less.
Really liked our cabin - 8320. Afternoon ...
Getting on the boat was a breeze! I am blown away by the service that we received while on board. Our servers in the restaurant were absolutely amazing. They called us by name every time they addressed us; they pulled out my chair for me; and I loved the dancing. Putu Agus was our lead server. He was awesome! So friendly and funny! There was plenty to do each day, and the drink package was well ...
After a really bad year prior, I wanted to get my family out on a genuine vacation, not one spent constantly visiting family members in the hospital (it had been one of THOSE years). We were going to spend some time near Orlando, so decided to check out a cruise for a number of reasons:
* My husband is disabled and has mobility issues, so he spent a lot of time in a wheelchair during this trip. ...
We chose this cruise because it was on dates that fit into our inflexible travel schedule and the price was right. It was me, my wife our two young daughters (6 & 3) and my mother. We had an ocean view suite and a neighboring standard stateroom.
Accommodations: The suite size was okay. The balcony was very nice. The furnishing were worn but serviceable. However, we immediately noticed a septic ...
They say that there's no such thing as a bad cruise. You're not at work. You're healthy and fortunate enough to afford such a luxury. But there are levels to these things.
In case you don't want to read a novel here's the summary: Come with realistic expectations. There's a reason Disney and Virgin Voyages charge a premium. There's a reason Carnival doesn't, particularly on this ship. Walmart ...
We took two grandchildren on the short Victory cruise this week. Miami, Key West, Cozumel and a day at sea.
Did the Fast to the Fun and it worked well. Got on board shortly after arriving. We parked at the Port of Miami garage D right across from the ship at only $88. Just walked over.
The food in the Lido was limited. Not a great salad selection. It was almost impossible to get wine or ...
