1-10 of 472 Carnival Victory Balcony Cabin Cruise Reviews
We chose this as a last minute cruise. We booked an interior guarantee and got upgraded to a balcony (8201). A terrific financial deal.
The crew was nice and it was a shorter cruise (4 days) but the food and activities were not good. I think this ship is going in to be restored but they seem to have given up a bit.
The ship is a really good layout and I hope it will be restored to this ...
We traveled as a couple, and can say from beginning to end this was an enjoyable cruise! I have been on more than 15 cruises and read not so good reviews on this ship, but I have to say this was this cruise was just like any of the "highly rated" ships that I have been on. Embarkation was so easy, we parked our car directly across the street from the ship and walked on within minutes. Our cabin ...
We cruised recently with two small & naughty kids, (ages 5 and 2) and it was super awesome experience. Crew members were very nice & gentle. Food was super delicious as we tried Blue Iguana Cantina for taco, Lido for dinner buffet, Atlantic for breakfast and Pacific Restaurant for dinner, Indian veg meal and there we met dinning staffs Rituparna , Christy , Ashish and they were so good & ...
We chose this cruise for both the itinerary and for the low price. In retrospect, I think we would choose something different next time. With Key West's stop being just a few hours in the early morning, I think we all missed out on a lot that the town has to offer. Cozumel, we didn't even get off the ship, instead choosing to lounge around and enjoy the solitude and empty spa!
Before I get ...
I chose to cruise with family who needed a quick cruise out of Miami. So, we set sail on Carnival Victory’s 4-day excursion to The Bahamas. I stayed in room 8331.
The Cabin. The inside of the cabin was nice looking and updated. The bathroom was clean and functioned well, although my family next door and the next few cabins had sewer backup problems. There was a lot of storage. I tipped ...
We like Key west and wanted a short getaway. Actually, it's our 4th or 5th time on the Victory & we're going again December 2nd. The ship externally is tired, but a quick inspection below decks looks like brand new. ('Vic') is going to Spain in March for a complete refit.
The food is equal to or better than any other cruise line. (This was our 46th cruise).
Our balcony was bigger than ...
We chose this cruise because it was the same itinerary from the same port we took on our honeymoon 25 years ago.
Embarkation/Debarkation were both very smooth. Quickest on/off the boat we have had. Carnival's new procedures for priority were amazing. We were on the boat in probably 20 minutes including security, and off and in the uber in 15 or less.
Really liked our cabin - 8320. Afternoon ...
This was our second trip on the Victory. This sailing was to Key West and Cozumel, while the previous trip was a few years back from NY to Canada. On this most recent sailing, we noticed areas that were dirty, rusted or otherwise somewhat neglected since the previous sailing. We had the feeling that the crew are letting things slide a bit because they know the Victory is scheduled for a major ...
loudmouth and no class is an accurate description of 90% of the people on this cruise,
noisy hallways, all night noise, could not sleep, breakfast and lunch was okay but dinner was horrible you could tell the food was coming out of a microwave, customer care staff needs more training, the toilet in my room wreaked of urine..house keeping should use bleach to disinfect toilets, the staff was ...
They say that there's no such thing as a bad cruise. You're not at work. You're healthy and fortunate enough to afford such a luxury. But there are levels to these things.
In case you don't want to read a novel here's the summary: Come with realistic expectations. There's a reason Disney and Virgin Voyages charge a premium. There's a reason Carnival doesn't, particularly on this ship. Walmart ...
