Predictable Carnival Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Carnival Valor

My husband and I booked this cruise as a getaway for just the two of us away from our 4 teenage children. We are platinum members but have only departed from Port Canaveral once before. It was very easy to get to the port and the parking was convenient with minimal walking. The boarding area was the usual cattle call but it moved along quickly. From the time we entered the building ...

Carnival conquest class ship, embarkation port canaveral florida. Beautiful day for cruising with friends and family. we started off by having bloody marys at the time out lounge. Ok it’s not only a drink it’s a meal. i had shrimp, egg, sausage, meat balls, waffles, celery with slim gym, and olive for my basic support items. Looks like mikey mouse. After that wonderful breakfast we ...

Carnival Valor

For the amount of people involved in embarkation and debarkation I thought Carnival did a good job. Lines were short and counter people were experienced and very professional. Once on board we found our upgraded cabin in the stern of the ship smaller than advertised. We will take this up with Carnival at a latter date. Our Cabin attendant Luis was excellent. He kept our room and bath clean and ...

Overall this cruise was very good. We chose this cruise for our anniversary and were given a couple perks for doing so. Thanks Carnival! The embarkation was a breeze. We arrived to the port around 1130 and we were on the boat by 12-12:15. Don't think it has ever went that smooth at any other port. We chose a balcony room on mid deck 7. I thought the location worked great. As for other ...

Delightful cruise

This was our 5th Carnival cruise and have never been disappointed. Carnival gives you a lot of bang for your buck. We are 2 senior ladies who travel together often and are not looking for late night parties. We had no trouble finding ways to entertain ourselves. We both enjoy the casino and going to the shows in the theater and comedy club. When we wanted quiet, we retreated to our room and aft ...

8-Night Cruise for my Honeymoon on Carnival Valor

My Fiance and I booked this cruise about 8 months in advance for our Honeymoon in September. We got a great deal at only about $650/person for an 2F Oceanview room. Embarkation out of Port Canaveral went smoothly although traffic was a bit of an issue because (3) ships were leaving at the same time. Parking at a private lot outside the terminal was way cheaper than parking by the ship and that ...

SUMMARY: This was a good cruise -- we made all our ports, weather was tolerable, excursions were memorable, food was good, and cabin was fine. This was my 10th cruise, the 7th on Carnival. I sailed with my sister, both of us in our 60's. This was her 16th cruise, I believe. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, the length of the cruise and the good value. We drove in from ...

Our family has been cruising with a growing group of friends for four years now. While we have been to these ports multiple times, it is the group of friends that make it great! That being said, the Valor is beautiful and clean and the service was excellent. I'm sure it's difficult serving a rowdy group of 24 for dinner every night! The food was great also. We were diverted from two ports due ...

Was group cruise. Carnival did the best they could considering we lost two ports due to weather would have rather stopped at Carnivals private island rather then Nassau. Only real problem Captain from Italy with thick accent difficult to understand. but followed up with repeat announcement by CD. As always steak house a plus. also MDR staff did a great job seating 22 plus for dinner every night ...

Lots of Fun

We chose this cruise because of the great value that we get from CCL. We are VIFP and enjoy the expeditious embark/disembark procedures. We were on this ship several years ago when it was fairly new. The 2.0 upgrade that it has undergone made the ship seem much newer than its actual age. Highlights for us were the Steakhouse, room service, our cabin(first time we have chose a suite), and ...
