Great cruise and outstanding Grand Suite

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Valor

The cruise was very good but the Grand Suite 7289 was the best. Could make you spoiled in this room type. Our room steward Francis was the best. He took care of us each day and was always available for us. The first two comics were very good but the last two were so so. The dinners were good and the steak house was outstanding. Shore excursions were good and the weather was good. Snorkeling ...

50th Anniversary Cruise

This was our 14th cruise with Carnival, and was the most enjoyable. My bride of 50 years, and I were accompanied by our daughter, son-in-law and 6 year old granddaughter . Canaveral was the quickest and easiest boarding we have experienced. I paid for parking over the net, so I only had to show the attendant my receipt, the a short walk to check in. We went directly to our rooms, ...

This was our 14th cruise with Carnival and our 1st time on Valor. Although the ship is a little old itself the updates were definitely an added plus! Guy's Burgers is fantastic! the ports we visited were beautiful and we highly recommend "Bernard's Tours" in St. Maarteen. Our guide was David Taylor and he did a remarkable job.So much info on the island, free drinks which included diet sodas ...

We always travel with Valor, even with the deviations to different islands because of the storms had a grand time choosing and exploring, loved the switch to Nassau really a great island to visit and we were pleasantly surprised by the last minute booking to Atlantis what a treasure cove and a must visit ! We chose this trip to especially visit St Kitts and St Maarten, will get to St Kitts the ...

The best Carnival Cruise we've been on in the past few years!

we selected this cruise based on the ports she was going to make since we were never in St Maarten nor St Kitts and wanted to get there to see those Islands. Thanks to a tropical wave/depression we were not able to get to St Kitts but did in fact get to St Maarten, which is one of our most favorite Islands we have been to so far! As for the ship and staff its self both were awsome! We were ...

We were told that this was a great ship from family.. We had 31 people with us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniv. The only thing was I was disappointed with the number of people we booked for the cruise . We got no incentives or perks from Carnival. I was told they help celebrate your special ocasion. The ship is beautiful and so clean. We had a storm in at ST. Kitts so they took us to St Thomas ...

We chose this ship because the sail dates worked in our schedule. Demarcation was extremely smooth. We walked right on board. By 1:00 our room was ready and we where off to a great adventure. This was my husband's first cruise and he was very impressed with the cleanliness, efficiency of the staff, and the quality of the food. From the time we arrived at our room we where called by name and all of ...

When it comes to the cabin steward and Dinner staff this is the best cruise we've been on in years. But you wonder why Carnival does this all the time they just can't get some of the simple things right. Everyone has some precruise questions, but when you call Carnival it doesn't seem to be on their script and of course it's not in the FAQ reading on-line. When I booked the room I asked ...

Great Week Onboard the Carnival Valor

We booked a beautiful Aft Corner cabin that had a lot of balcony. We had 6 chairs, 2 tables, and one lounger. It was like having three balconies. The room was a nice size but not a lot of drawer space. Two normal size drawers, one skinny drawer, and one half drawer because the other half had the hair drier installed in it. I bring clothes on the skinny hangers and it's a good thing because I ...
