Cabin was great. Very spacious and clean. Had a window that was nice to look out but would not have been necessary for me. Location of the cabin was not good for me because I felt too much movement. But if you have no issues with that it would not be a problem for you. Read entire member review >>
Rooms were ok but need updating. We had adjoin rooms as we were traveling with my son(21) & Daughter (25).I was very upset that our travel agent booked us on the First level!! There was extreme noise early in the morning and during the night - difficult to sleep and the Sewer smell was AWFUL. I tried to change our room but it was booked. I would NEVER have chosen this floor - our travel agent booked it. I have already called her and let her know!! Read entire member review >>
Odd shaped at the back of the boat. Very large with a big window. Was very quiet, did hear the hum of the engines, which we enjoy. No overhead noise and the hallway was quiet. Has a "door to the doors", leading to our room and the one next door. Can only take 2 passengers, but if you have a grandbaby in another room, would be great to take a pack and play and have room for them to play and sleep over. Read entire member review >>
Single couch instead of an upper berth for our daughter. She liked that a lot better.Bathroom was a nice size. Room to hold toiletries, etc in there for the week. Only complaint was there was a lot of outside noise. Not sure what it was, something mechanical, not people noise. Read entire member review >>
Cabin #2356- Was oceanview spacious and clean. Just couldn't sleep at night due to LARGE water lines running MASSIVE amounts of water past this room all night long. Sounded like a pool draining next to the bed, and we were in the middle of the ship. Read entire member review >>
Cabin # 2356- Very nice stateroom plenty of storage, and space even for three people. Didn't like the fact we could hear large amounts of water gushing/ running all night long and some times in the day time. Just outside the wall very hard to sleep in this cabin. Read entire member review >>
The cabin had a big beautiful window so we could see the ocean and all the ports. The location was right by the elevators which was both good and bad; good because it was so close and bad because I heard "ding" all night long. Read entire member review >>
Roon 2388 was very roomy. The bathroom was adequite but be sure to take an extension cord - there's only 1 AC outlet. The safe is good for jewelry and papers but will not accommodate a laptop. VCRs or DVD players are not available, so either watch movies on the laptop (as we did) or watch the ship channels.
Our cabin attendant was awesome. The food was good, plentiful, and hot. Gourmet it isn't but we were never hungry.
Smoking was an issue especially going to the Internet Cafe and in some areas around the pool. After passing through the cigar room enroute to the Internet Cafe, there's a good chance you'll reek. Very poor design.
The beds were excellent and room service was attentive.
Clearing customs in Miami (like most things in Miami) takes some extra patience. Either go down very early or wait for a while.
Enjoy the Valor - we did! Read entire member review >>
We had two cabins, 2274 and 2276, which are outside cabins with a connecting door. The kids got their own cabin and bathroom and we got the same, but with the ability to keep an eye on them the entire time. BUT, these cabins were right next to the main, mid-ship elevators, and all night long you could hear the bell of arriving elevators. I was worried about noise from so much foot traffic, but instead it was those darn elevator bells that kept me up most of the night. Also, directly above our cabin must have been some kind of large water holding tank, because while the ship was at sea (all night) you could hear the water sloshing back and forth just above our heads. It was terribly annoying and also kept us up quite a bit. I would not recommend these cabins to anyone. In fact, I'm a bit upset with my travel agent for putting us in them even after I voiced my concern over the proximity to the elevators. Read entire member review >>
Oceanview room on the maindeck. Closet space was plenty big enough. Beds were very comfortable. Room location was a little noisy directly across from the laundromatte.(clothes in the dryers made noises clinking & clanking around all day & night) People using the machines kept leaving door to laundry room open .Other than that room was great .
