Balcony cabin midship. We spent a lot of time lounging on the balcony and really enjoyed it. If you opt for a balcony, we definitely recommend ordering room service in the morning, or getting up early and getting breakfast from the Lido deck and bringing it back to the room and enjoying your breakfast on the balcony while you watch the sunrise! the cabin was old. dirty. fridge didn't work (had to be change twice). people that were schedule to clean/attend the cabin was rude....(for the first time ever I asked the cruise line to remove the automatic gratuity charge from my account Read entire member review >>
The cabin was as expected in layout, although signs of wear were evident. Balcony needed painting and the chairs and table were not very clean. The curtains were falling of the track. The cabin was not vacuumed in the five days we were on board. The bed was comfomfortable and linen looked clean. Read entire member review >>
A great decision for our first cruise! Fantastic daytime views (even if only water) and incredible nighttime stargazing. All our accommodations were met, and always enjoyed seeing a new towel animal waiting for us on return to our cabin. Read entire member review >>
We had a balcony beds pushed together leaving room for a full size couch and small table. It's a cruise ship so certainly not big but larger than the interior our kids stayed in. I enjoy being able to sit in quite at times and just relax especially with all the Carnival ship activities. Read entire member review >>
Standard balcony cabin. It does have a small flat screen TV. This cabin is directly across from the stewards pantry. The pantry noise starts about 7:30am. The only time that we heard our neighbors was when they let their balcony door slam. Even though this cabin is on a high deck and forward, we did not get as much movement as I thought that we would with the rough seas. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was shared by 2 adults, 2 children. The fit was tight but we had enough room for all of our belongings, luggage storage and bathroom needs. Beds were surprisingly comfortable, as were the pillows. The balcony was nice to have. My only complaint was that the TV was tiny! Not that I used it much but when I did, the TV was just really small - a slightly bigger one would have been better. 2nd issue was that there were NO standard outlets in the bathroom! We all had to share 1 outlet in the cabin near the mirror when blow drying hair, etc. Why no outlet in the bathroom? (Disclaimer: There was an international voltage outlet in the bathroom but unless you have a conversion kit, you can't use it, unless your electronics have international plugs etc. Had I known this maybe I would have brought a conversion kit and been able to use.) Our cabin was perfectly situated close to the new smoking area. We were 1 deck above the Lido and right outside a hot tub, pool and end of the water slide. It was the perfect location for us and I wouldn't hesitate to book this category again. Read entire member review >>
Beautiful balcony and room. It was actually larger than I expected. I was right near the elevator so I never had to walk far and nearer to the aft of the ship. A few children played in the hallway but only one word and they immediately apologized. Our other friends were neighbors so we called and a crew member came up and unlocked our divider so we could have a larger balcony. Read entire member review >>
we were in cabin 1101 if you are not the type who get sea sick this cabin was great on one side was the spa which closes at 10 i believe and nothing across the hall but a door to spa which closes at 10 so if your neighbor to the left is quiet you have a very peaceful vacation while in your room if there was one thing we didn't like it would be that while out on your deck you are right below the smoking section on the 12th deck which is a hindrance not for the smoking cause you don't smell that at all but if they are drinking anything and have it setting on the rail it has a tendency to spill and run down the little roof over hang and down on your head or clothes you might stick out there to dry. Cat 8F room 1102. Spa deck
The room was very spacious with a great balcony and the view was fabulous. We are on the port side. The room has the convertible king bed with a drop down single from the roof and couch that converted to another single bed. There was no noise at all as this room is located at the end of the hallway with a another guest room on one side and the spa on the other. The room is located close to elevators and stairs and also just outside are the open decks and short walk to Rosie's. Read entire member review >>
We had 2 rooms on the 11th floor Spa Deck, both had nice size balconies and were very comfortable. Our rooms were underneath Camp Carnival so it's little noisy during the day. The Spa deck balconies do not provide the privacy of the lower decks so please beware you are being watched. The 12th deck is used primarily for Camp Carnival and for passengers observing the beautiful views of the ocean and ports and they can look right down on your balcony. Rooms are close to elevators, pools, outside decks, fitness center, spa and food. Not a lot of foot traffic and very quite at night when it matters most. Read entire member review >>
Horrible location of my room; the main walkway of the self-serve restaurant above is over my bedroom! Very poor insulation resulted in me hearing every footstep of the many walking people, and the really noisy sounds of the carts coming in/out of the restaurant and being wheeled around. This was horrible. You could hear people down my hallway talking, their conversations, the Kids Camp Director running kids thru the halls while the kids screamed at 1am the last night! Come on. The kids were only doing what they were told they could. The Camp Director thought it was a fun thing to do and didn't appreciate me stepping outside my room to explain to her that this is not appropriate guidance. Read entire member review >>
