The cabin was typical balcony with a couch bed and a fold down upper bunk for the two grandchildren. It would have been nice to have children's bathrobes but that's not a big issue. The room did have an annoying rattle outside the door that actually woke us one night. Maintenance and housekeeping were notified and the fix was to jam a piece of folded paper to stop the vibration. It worked for a while but came back whenever maintenance and housekeeping weren't there to hear it. When I investigated, I found several pieces of paper wedged in various spots up there outside the door. It's obviously a problem in need of a permanent fix. Read entire member review >>
Very Clean with very little signs of wear and tear. Balcony was great. Lot's of noise from above on the Lido deck. Hallway was noisy starting about 5 AM with staff. Bathroom was ok. Plenty of space to put toiletries. The cabin had plenty of storage space. Read entire member review >>
good shape, clean, lots of storage, door very narrow, room is smaller than listed. ok for 2 people. Not good for person with scooter or wheel chair. Balcony door very heavy hard to open. Safe in room tricky sometimes it locks you out. Read entire member review >>
Bugs biting you when you lay down in bed, so I had to spray bug spray on my body before going to bed. The bed itself was extremely hard and the air conditioning broke in the cabin. Read entire member review >>
I had family members in side-by-side cabins in 8221 and 8217. These cabins were on Verandah deck - starboard side forward. Turned out to be a very good location with cabins above and below us and only 1 deck down from Lido Deck. The cabins were all in very good shape. I expected more wear and tear since ship is scheduled for dry dock in April, 2016. I was pleasantly surprised. My dresser had a few nicks in it but nothing of significance. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well in all three cabins. Our cabin steward Mr. "P" , was excellent in every way. Always had a smile on his face and always introduced me when we met in hallway as I did with him. Cleaned cabin efficiently and always filled my ice bucket twice daily. Read entire member review >>
Great location. Easy access to buffet - just few steps away.
balcony was lovely. shaded from extended lido deck above
Minor noise from buffet above - but much less than we expected, perhaps because it's beneath out-of-way spot. Didn't really bother us.
Lots of room for 2 people. Would be snugger for 3 ... obviously. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was a decent size with lots of storage. The washroom stunk like a porta potty and the whole room creaked and ticked all night because everything was loose and old. It was difficult to sleep all night because of all the noise. Only one outlet, which I read on a previous review so we brought a power bar. Read entire member review >>
Easily accessible to the elevator and it had a nice balcony. The only issue was the NOISE. It is across the hall from a storage room and close enough to the elevators that you could hear people talking at all hours. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was very comfortable, nice and clean, the closets had lots of space, the bathroom´s size was perfect and it was always clean, the balcony is totally worth it, and the most important thing, the bed, this one was very comfortable, the only thing they need to change is the T.V., it is very outdated; overall, my cabin was perfect, I really liked the fact that my cabin´s location was on the quiet side of the ship so there was never a single noise. They also have a safe box and a small fridge. Very noisy as the lido deck and Rosie's restaurant is right above the room. Would not recommend booking an 8th floor room in the AFT section of this ship. I had to get the room attendant to get me a fan to drown out the noise. If I do it again, I will look at the 7th deck. Read entire member review >>
The room was very spacious, with a couch and table, and lots of closet space. We also had 8229, next door. We asked at Customer Service to have the partition opened between our two balconies. It was great! We could see the officers standing in the Bridge area from our balcony. There are just staterooms above and below, so no noise. Very comfortable. Read entire member review >>
7358: Decent space, very comfortable bed. I would take a room on the odd number side next time so I can better see the arrival and departure in port. WEll situated cabin, did not feel the ship move. Read entire member review >>
Cabin number 7393 was excellent for dinner time because you entered the near by elevator and exited out on the lido deck right at the kitchen door. We found no fault at all with this cabin or it's location. Read entire member review >>
We had Stateroom 8263, which was adjacent to the elevator bay. I was hesitant at first, concerned about potential noise (i.e., continual foot traffic, people constantly talking, etc). We heard NO noise at all. Perfect location. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was above and below smoking areas and apparently the ventalition system on this ship isn't that great. A problem for me, but maybe no one else. At least it was quiet. Read entire member review >>
8339 - Mid ship Balcony cabin. Comfortable bed, three large closets, Great Balcony view with two deck chairs and small table. Near the elevators mid ship. Good for being close to elevator, but you do hear noise from kids and people who talk loudly when they are walking to their rooms. Would move down one level. The buffet and pool deck are right above and you hear the scraping of chairs at night and in the morning and also when the crew rolls anything heavy from deck above. Read entire member review >>
Valor's balcony room on deck 6 had, stale cigarette odor for 7 days onboard.
Below room was casino. Never heard the slots, but they had a small staging area in casino where a band played every night from 8 p.m. till 1:30 a.m. and the bass drum sound permeated through the floor, or mattress and pillows. Couldn't sleep much for 7 days with the banging of the bass drum. With tv on you could still hear the noise. Everything else was okay in the room. They did leave a paper when we got into the room that talked about dust clouds?? and had a pic of a bug on the paper. They said don't put luggage under bed. They could get into luggage. They could be found in corners of closets etc. Read entire member review >>
Good location, quiet, you can hear people in the hall. The balcony was good for 2 people but no more. Best storage space I have ever seen on a ship and the loghts made it very bright, which as nice. Bed was comfy, felt right at home. Read entire member review >>
7-355 was great. 2 floors below the pool and 2 bove the main deck where everything was. Right in the middle of the ship. They just need to make sure it is very clean each time Read entire member review >>
We has a standard balcony room. I think for two people it was quite enough room. They have plenty on spaces to put your stuff. We didn't even use all the space that was available to us. But if you were traveling with more then two people it "may" be a bit tight.
The balcony was great to have.... Read entire member review >>
We felt our room was more than adequate. We had sufficient closet space and hung a shoerack over the bathroom door to keep track of the smaller items. We were close to stairs and elevator and the balcony was great!! Read entire member review >>
Plenty of space under the beds for luggage storageThere's a fold-up bed that drops down from the ceilingTV remote has no paint on the buttons anymoreBathroom light must be turned on for power outlet to work in bathroom (so no camera chargers unless you keep the light on)Couldn't get the TV Network System to work...always said "Network Not available" for checking accounts, etc. Read entire member review >>
Balcony for 3 people was just fine. With two cleanings per day, the cabin maintained some kind of simblance. We didn't need anymore room. But I wouldn't do a cruise with children without a balcony!!! Read entire member review >>
Nice cabin, but balcony a little small for the lounge chairs. Regular chairs would fit better.
We could clearly see in the bridge from the balcony, which of course means the bridge personal could see our balcony too. Worth noting if you're into nude sunbathing! Read entire member review >>
