Wanted a winter get-away to the warm weather. We had a pretty good cruise experience all around. Our cabin was always cleaned every day but not at the time requested.
We ate in the Washington dining room for evening meals It was great! We made some good friends from sharing a dinning table who ended up spending a lot of time playing cards with us. That was so much fun!

We wanted a shorter but not 3 day cruise and to different places other than long beach port. Got to go with friends for first time and it was great to have people t do things with when hubby wanted to lounge on balcony. Galveston seemed a reasonable distance for us and worked out good, but will fly next time. The 17 hour drive from phoenix was killer.

My wife's family set the cruise up last year as a family reunion cruise. The boarding process was what I expected with as many people as it was, but it went fairly smooth. The staff were great. This was the very first cruise for both my 17 year old son and I. He has moderate autism spectrum disorder and global developmental delays, so I was very anxious about our trip. Very enjoyable cruise with friends. Third cruise on Carnival for me and 5th cruise over all.
