This room had a rectangle window with ledge. Spacious, clean, a/c worked well (controlled with manual damper in ceiling vent).
Bathroom is standard. Shower uses an old-school curtain.
Luckily we brought two kinds of outlet extension things, one hangs down from the outlet and would not work since the provided outlet is only maybe 1-2 inches above the desk. So be sure to bring something that does not have to hang down from the provided outlet. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was very nice and large. We had a porthole view so that made it seem larger than it was. The bed was very good and soft, but our comforter was too heavy. The first 2 nights we were burning up it was so hot, then the next three nights we almost froze to death. Go figure?? Read entire member review >>
Cabin was fine. We didn't expect anything great since we waited so long to book. Our friends were 2 doors down from us and their cabin was laid out MUCH better, so I would suggest that one if you have a choice. Room 2208 was a good layout for 2 people. The bathroom was in the corner, rather than by the front door. Made it much more roomy! We did hear some noise at night from down below but we got used to it. Read entire member review >>
Room was clean for the most part although I did find a bag under the bed that did not belong to us on the last day while trying to make sure we weren't leaving anything behind. The pink and blue bathroom scheme is very outdated. This shows as a bunk when booking but is actually one twin bed with a fold out couch. They added a mattress topper to the couch however the person sleeping there said it was terribly uncomfortable. Room and hall smelled of sewage. This room is on a lower deck at the front of the ship therefore any movement is felt more than on the upper decks and large waves are not only felt but cause a loud banging noise. I would not recommend lower decks for anyone who might possibly get sea sick for sure. Read entire member review >>
We had a porthole oceanview cabin. The experience was great for the most part. Our cabin was clean and well kept. The water pressure in the shower was great. The only negative aspect of the cabin was that the air conditioning did not work very well and our room was warm most of the time. Read entire member review >>
Never choose anything in the aft section, no matter the floor. I spoke with a girl on the upper floor that mentioned the vibrating and she shut up when I told her how bad ours was. The ship is dated and showing terrible wear. Read entire member review >>

It therefore stands to reason that they will have a favorite cruise line or port of call -- in other words, they are "fans" and will sometimes take offense when a brand new member has arrived on the scene to bash a cruise line.
