Oceanview stateroom with private balcony and twin beds that convert to king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films.
Our stateroom was ready and fit the three of us just fine. Our steward Made from Indonesia was the sweetest! I will say the rooms are a little outdated, but very clean and functional! The only thing I would say needed the most improvement were the hair dryers. They got so hot, they would hurt your hand. Other than that, the room was fine! The beds were very comfy and had decent storage. The room had a pull down bed that was also comfortable and saved space as well. Read entire member review >>
I enjoyed the cabin very much. I felt for the money that we paid it was worth it. The balcony was fine. The door connecting the cabin beside us would not lock but stayed shut and the people in the cabin didn't come out that I know of.
My kids stayed in 6433 and their room flooded (so to speak). There was water that leaked all over the carpet and got their stuff on the floor wet. There were 4 people in this cabin so they put them in two different cabins temporarily. They were exhausted and it was late when this happened so it was brutal to have to move everything off the floor so they could come and try to deal with the problem.
I did notice in the hallway of the 6th floor there was a sewage smell when you walked by. The staff was very nice and we loved our wait staff in Paris dining room. Read entire member review >>
The cabin needs to be thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom. All broken items fixed or replaced and then it will be fine. I failed it because of safety items and cleanliness. Read entire member review >>
As stated above, I loved the balcony and spent a lot of time relaxing listening to the waves. Our cabin was right next to the stairs/elevators which made traveling on the ship easy. My only complaint is you can hear the Hollywood Disco Nigh Club late at night. "Mr. G" did an amazing job of cleaining our room and ensuring we had everything we needed. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was a typical balcony cabin. Just in the rear. This was the first time we had been near the elevators and was a little worried but we never heard anything. And being on the 7th floor we were able to walk 2 floors up to the pool and 2 floors down to the level with activities, casino and meeting rooms. Then down 2 more floors and we were at the door to the dining room. Read entire member review >>
Everything in our cabin was perfect except for the lack of a fridge (which we were aware of ahead of time) and the couch looking a little tired out. Bed was super comfortable. Our cabin steward brought extra pillows. Once we figured out the A/C and that we had to turn the little thingy on the ceiling to open it up, it was great. We love having a balcony to sit on and would never go without one now. Thinking that it might be nice to try an aft balcony next time.
Our cabin steward introduced himself on the first night and showed us how to contact him directly if we needed anything. We asked him for extra hangers, pillows and to keep our ice bucket full and he did all of these things and more. He and the other stewards on the floor (Lido deck) always said hello and asked about our day. Read entire member review >>
Cabin 6364 Upper Deck 6. was a nice comfy room, there were 4 guest in the room and we had plenty of room. loved the balcony. the bathroom was very spacious. Gladys, (our steward) was very on top of every thing. one of our guest was awake till 3 am, and decided to sleep all day on our last sea day. I told Gladys not to disturb him, and let the room go. we woke the guest up, went to dinner at 6 pm. went back to the room to grab a few things for the movie, and Gladys had went in and cleaned the room. she went above, and beyond for us. she was great. I tipped well because she deserved it. Read entire member review >>
Convenient location if you can deal with a little bit of noise. Right next to the Atrium elevators so you can hear everything going on in the Atrium bar. Right next to the stairs by the main show lounge and shops. Read entire member review >>
Very quiet location in the far aft. A long walk to the elevators, but just two flights up to the Lido. There was no fridge in this cabin on Oct 30, 2014 which seemed strange. Cabin is worn (carpets, sink, desk surfaces) but the safe, hair dryer and tv all worked. Read entire member review >>
9226 Lido Balcony. We loved the location. Near the Lido deck pools and the buffets. Also not much hallway traffic and no noise. Close to a private deck area at the front of the ship. Just above where the water breaks below. Love this location! Read entire member review >>
Great for the 2 of us. More than enough storage. Well stocked with supplies. Near the front elevators. Just a tiny bit of noise from the atrium occasionally. Very clean and free of smells. I'm a big guy and never felt uncomfortable in the cabin or bathroom. Loved the small but adequate balcony. It is across from a crew area but we were never disturbed by that. Cabin Steward, Laurence was perfect....mostly out of sight....but definitely took care of business. Only saw him in the hallway, once a day starting on Day 2, but he knew our names at our 1st meeting and called us by name every time he saw us. Lighting was great. TV and remote could use an update. Bedding was adequate....never as good as home. I'm bald and Pam has thin hair, but I imagine most women would want to bring their own hair dryer if you can get it on board. Never did figure out which 1 was soap and which one was shampoo in the shower, so I just used both every time. Both smelled real good. Read entire member review >>
This cabin is directly above the casino bar so you can expect to hear music EVERY night from 6pm to midnight. At times its just back ground noise but sometimes it would rattle the walls of the cabin. Read entire member review >>
Quite, clean, and odor free room. Two closets with lots of hanging space. Third closet with safe, and shelves. Three medium size drawers for storage, as well as some smaller shelves with doors for storage. Small desk area and a small table for the couch. Great views out the window and balcony door. Great views from the balcony too. Because this room is above another balcony room, below the ship's bridge, and at the end of the hallway, with no elevator or stairs, this room is very quiet.
