Although the décor of this new ship was lacking for me, this was a wonderful cruise across the Atlantic. I loved our stops in Gibraltar and the Azores. Ponta Delgada and the Azores is one of my favorite places on earth. It is gorgeous.

We cruised on this ship from Athens to Barcelona, and then on to New York on the Vista’s maiden Trans-Atlantic.
For the most part public areas where kept clean and tidy with staff often to be seen cleaning. This was especially so on the leg from Athens to Barcelona when apparently some cases of the norovirus where on-board.

I am particularly disappointed by the Lido deck and the ability of the staff to keep coffee and coffee cups in adequate supply. During the peak of early morning breakfast, the coffee pots would go empty and cups would run out. A sign on the machine instructed people to use a new cup each time.
