Carnival Transatlantic Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Main auditorium insufficient to accommodate guests

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Carnival Vista

It appears to be a trend in the cruise industry today. Build bigger ships to increase passenger capacity, However, there has been an often overlooked design flaw with the ships main auditoriums. They haven't grown in size to meet the demands of the larger ships. I don't know what Carnival advertises as the seating capacity of the Vista, but it doesn't matter. It's WAY too small. They decided ...

We did the Europe trip and was very port intense but we had a really good time! Once on the TA we had time to enjoy ship. We were in Athens for 4 nights prior to cruise explored as much as we could. Embarking and disembarking was smooth as silk. Our cabin stewards great ! Cove Balcony excellent cabin. The serenity area was very nice. My husband and I are scuba divers we went diving in ...

Great Cruise On A Not So Great Ship

My husband and I are Platinum level cruisers and have been on eight different Carnival ships, so we were excited to book the 16 day transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to New Orleans leaving Barcelona on November 1, 2013. We enjoyed the cruise but were very disappointed with the ship itself, which we were led to believe was a totally new ship with a name change to prove it. It is not a totally new ...

Carnival LEGENDS exceeded expectations as a Ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Carnival Legend

The ship itself was very nice, a bit on the opulent (like Vegas) style which I thought was very nice but some thought was a little "over the top". Despite some of pre-cruise issues with propulsion system it ran flawlessly and we went through some very high winds (peaking >60mph)for couple of days but ship was amazingly stable. Almost no sense of movement at the worst of it. Ship was clean. Wait ...

Carnival Breeze transatlantic

I am comparing my experience to the review written by glomarrone. The description of the decor is quite accurate - a change from the often loud and sometimes distracting decor on other Carnival ships. The design of the Buffet was a pleasant change from the often drab settings, and there was better use of space to include breakfast bar type seats across the width of the restaurant; however, there ...

I had never cruised with Carnival America before. It took quite a long time to board this ship, lots of elderly passengers having to wait in long lines to board the ship. I'm not used to having to give up my passport to a cruise company until we were ready to get off the ship, but I got over it in the end:) Our cabin on deck 1 was the biggest that I have stayed in so far for an inside cabin, the ...

Very Nice But Maybe Bigger Isn't Better?

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Carnival Magic

The Magic should, theoretically, provide more fun things to do than a smaller ship because there should be tons more space. Well, no. A lot of that free space is taken up by many more cabins and two more "premium" restaurants for a total of three. Since it's a new ship, it's obvious they're still getting the kinks out of their systems - figuring out how long they need to get everyone off and on ...

This review will be broken down into three parts, first the ship and cabin, second food, dining, and bars service, and lastly Carnival cruise lines itself. We were located in Cabin 1300 which is on the first floor, center of the ship, ocean view cabin. We always pick this type of cabin on Ocean crossings. The cabin was of a very good size with plenty of hanging closet space, but somewhat short ...

I really enjoyed Carnival Magic transatlantic cruise. I am not a big person on food but look for the extras a ship can offer, and this ship supplies it all. I think their gym was excellent, and the spa was fantastic as well. If you are going to use these facilities,I suggest getting a spa cabin. It was great, all i had to do was walk down hall and gym right there, and one floor up was the steam ...

Carnival Magic TA 2011

Pre-Ship CCL rep met us at airport to direct us to our hotel shuttle and was there for us for our pre-board excursion to Monserrat which was enjoyable. We stayed at the Catalonia Bernia which is a lovely hotel with a great location & staff -â€" I am sorry to hear that Carnival is not using the hotel for next year's Ocean Breeze TA. Ship/Cabin/Staff I did like the more subdued colors and the ...
