Pleasingly Surprised

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Spirit

Saw an advertised “special deal” on Carnival - $749 for 8 nights so wanted to see if we would enjoy a longer cruise in possibly a different region with them. Food in restaurant, service and staff excellent. Ship was kept spotlessly clean. Cabin 4118 was spacious and our Cabin Steward, Ketut, maintained the room to a very high standard. He addressed us by name at all times, enquired about ...

Beautiful destination, amazing staff, great room

Overall the cruise was above my expectations. Room: We were in room 7302 aft balcony and I will be requesting an aft balcony for future cruises. The room was spacious enough for my husband and I and 6 year old and having a balcony gave us a lot more flexibility in space ( somewhere to dry clothes and towels, stash sandy shoes and snorkel gear, read, sun bake and get some fresh air). The aft ...

We cruised to Melbourne to tick another bucket list. Carnival Spirit was great. We partied and had a great time. Between the band The Manila Boys and Donnie the music was fantastic. You dances every night. The violin players were amazing and added the touch of elegance. High tea is a must and the trivia games keep you alert. The fellow guests were all there to have fun and the crew could not be ...

Coincided with our Anniversary. Cabin was good we have had this one before enjoy the indentation which keeps the wind off. We were well look after in the dining room with our friend Dessi. The dinning staff were great thanks Costa and his team. Food was fantastic plenty of variety. Eli cruise director very approachable called me lovely, said he sees us more than his parents. We are platinum ...

Carnival Legend Cruise: October 11th- 23rd Our first ever Cruise (although we have traveled extensively on international flights - Business and Holidays.) we were impressed. The Boarding was a credit to the Carnival Legend staff for their efficiency and ease of service. Most international airlines would struggle to compete with the speed and efficiently of Carnival Legend’s boarding and ...

This was a yearly holiday with my sisters, our second Cruise, first on the Spirit. We had the best time, the ship was in great condition, our cabin was cosy but comfortable and very clean, thanks to Cristina and Moh. The staff were very friendly. The dining in the Empire Room was amazing, we had excellent service with Kaur, I Madi and Goran, the food was delicious, there was not one meal we ...

Hi as a first time Cruiser this was a wonderful experience. We travelled as a family of 12 aged between 5yrs,16yrs to the 30's & 56 which was me. The Ship was absolutely beautiful & catered for all ages. The entertainment on board was fantastic & ranged from bingo, trivia games, karoake , craft days & health beauty seminars. There were cinemas which catered for many ages & live shows eg stand up ...

Just got back from a weekend cruise to nowhere on the Spirit, cannot highly recommend the ship enough. The staff are amazing, our cruise director Chloe was always around and mingling with the guests unlike a previous cruise director I have had. We were upgraded from an interior to a balcony cabin 5245 which had enough room for the two of us and the access bathroom was a great size! The ...

Just back from our Carnival Spirit cruise to New Caledonia and Vanuatu (August 2018). Once again another very good cruise experience on the Carnival Spirit. The Carnival Spirit is very well organised, staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is very good standard and available at very good times. Entertainment was great. The Carnival Spirit is a step ahead in terms of quality over the ...
