Carnival Sydney (Australia) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

As a large group (22 in total), with a good mix of adults and children, we looked forward to this cruise for over 12 months. The overall experience was a pleasant one, with everyone (bar 1 child) enjoying it. The positives were the service (both cabin and dining), the entertainment, activities available onboard and the overall friendliness of staff and passengers alike. I don’t like to ...

An interesting cruise. Embarkation went very well and quick - very efficient. Decor inside ship is very dark - if I had a choice I would paint all the dark brown areas a light off white colour. But it is what it is. If you are a regular cruiser on RCL or Princess I believe you will be disappointed with Carnival - it is a step down. The main complaint I have is that the food was of a ...

Carnival Legend - South Pacific Cruise March 2018 (last departure from Sydney before proposed refurbishment.) No all-inclusive alcoholic drink packages are available on Carnival departures from Australia. My wife’s favourite pre-dinner drink is Gin & Bitter Lemon. Bitter Lemon is rarely available, or even known to exist, on most cruise ships. Carnival, however, permit you to bring 12 ...

Embarkation and access was easy and smooth. Cabins were not ready but that was to be expected. Went straight to the pool and bar while waited for rooms to be ready. The weather was perfect every day and just hung at the serenity bar away from screaming kids. Noumea, Isle of Pines and Mare Isle were great snorkeling excellent. Food in all areas was good Main restaurant and Lido deck there was ...

It was a great fun relaxing cruise enjoyed the stops, staff was fantastic and friendly as always. The cabin was great mid ship deck 4 with obstructed views, when ever we cruise we always pick this category as we still get the daylight from outside would recommend a 4k to anyone that does not want to spend heaps on a cabin that you may only be in there to sleep and get changed. Was a little ...

First Carnival Cruise after 3 cruises with Royal. Short cruise to Tasmania. Booked a guarantee balcony. Given balcony on Deck 8. Cabin was spacious. Happy to be close to the buffet and serenity the adults only area. Had issues with flooding in the cabin. Excellent service from guest services in getting this issue fixed to my satisfaction. Loved the pods in the adults only Serenity ...

This was a good short cruise to Moreton Island. There were heaps of first time cruisers on the ship which was good to see. I didn't even bother getting off the ship when we got there so I had the ship to myself. Was able to do mini golf without heaps of kids and could hang out in Serenity without heaps of people there. Was even able to win a couple of rounds of Trivia due to most of the people ...

We just got back today (28/1/18). You know you have had a GREAT time when the family are depressed it is all over and the realities of this daily world start to set in. First thing that must be said is the Spirit crew work incredibly hard at keeping the passengers happy. They all do it with a smile on their face. They all seemed very motivated. The food, particularly in the Empire Room was ...

We were hesitant about carnival but it suited for a quick trip after 5 days in sydney we did the same cruise 11yrs ago on a P&O ship but spirit was much better, we weren't planning on doing shore excursions due to the cost and we had previously been there. Only got off in noumea to get free WiFi it is very expensive on ship. We had a minor issue with seating at emerald dining room as we ...
