Carnival Sydney (Australia) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Close to home, part of a group we have travelled on many times (Princess, Cunard, P & O International & Holland America), but this was all so different. Before we left we received an email that stated there would be extra health checks, what a joke, we signed a piece of paper & we were on board. Our biggest shock was there was no hand sanitation enforcement, didn't happen until the last few ...

We Chose this ship as we were under the impression that after having a recent refit etc and having been on Carnival Legend we actually thought Splendor would be great, how mistaken were we. The embarkation and disembarkation processes were not too bad but they were the only good things. The whole boat was filthy when we first boarded and when we got to our cabin we had asked for two single beds ...

Tacky decor, unfriendly staff

Tacky decor, way too much pink. The ship was meant to have been recently refurbed but I don't know what they refurbed because things in the rooms were broken (lamps, bedside tables). The mirror in the bathroom had been moved however the old holes werent patched. The staff were not friendly, apart from the cabin staff and the 3 staff we had in the dining room. The food was absolutely ...

This was our 16th cruise... Complaints to Carnival Splendor – Moreton Island Cruise Jan 16th- 20th 2020. • Casino Bar. On Friday returning to the casino after being there several hours the night before, I had a barman approach me and gave me a card allowing me to buy drinks from the bar for free for the remainder of the cruise, pinning a card onto my lanyard. I got myself a free drink at ...

Friend selected cruise. She had been on carnival spirit. Horrible. Horrendous. Scrap assault. Food poisoning and food pressure. All of us. Drinks taking varnish off tables. Bad behaviour. Bad food and alcohol. Lack of security. Boss food. No information tool third day. Terrible planning of the ship. Nothing to do. But drink. Eat food that is killing you. Aggression on the boat. Thinking ...

Very disappointing experience on Splendor out of Sydney

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Splendor

Very hard-working crew but simply too many people on the ship. At capacity of 3,700 guests, queues remained way too long for food, activities and tendering. Two small, cold pools (one adult only) completely insufficient for number on board and space outdoors and undercover are scarce. Kids/Teens clubs were inaccessible and poor. Visible signs of recent renovation were not obvious – still looked ...

We chose this cruise because it sounded so good with the new makeover and refurbishment.Well after a month in Singapore to do all the work I don’t know what happened because when we got on the ship was in poor condition, the interior looks a lot like an old run down casino in Freeman st Las Vargas .Problems started from the minute we arrived at Boarding,it took 3 hours to get on the ship then at ...

Well we were extremely excited to be spending our honeymoon on the Carnival Spirit but the disappointment started pretty well as soon as we boarded and continued to stay true to form throughout the entire cruise! Where to start? * Upon boarding the ship we were given a letter that explained due to Bushfires on Moreton Island we were now going to be travelling to Hobart instead and to pack ...

Awful, nasty experience. Jeez where do I start?? I will dot point.. * the room had ONE power point. That's all. Called guest services and asked for an extension cord as I have a cpap machine. They didn't know what an extension cord was. * The so called lemonade is lemon cordial, the iced tea was a really strange flavour. Coffee from the machine was actually undrinkable... it was like ...
