We decided to take a cruise with Carnival Sunrise to celebrate my children's birthday. We booked a Captain Suite expecting to have one of the best cabins in the ship and ended up having the worst space in the ship. The electric blinds were broken, the curtains had holes and missing hooks. The bathroom doors were not working and the bed strings were breaking our backs. The staff admitted that these ...

This was a family cruise with ages from 18 to 83. We booked the Jamaica and Grand Cayman as it was originally planned for grandsons graduation present. To start with, we booked this cruise over a year ago, and without notice our itinerary was changed from Jamaica to Cuba. Well we did not want to go to Cuba so we had to change our dates from January to Feb, which was the first ...

This was the first cruise for my daughters, ages 16 and 8. My husband and I have cruised once before, on the Carnival Valor out of Galveston in October 2018. This trip was our "experience" Christmas gift for the girls and I got a GREAT deal on an Ocean Suite. When I booked the suite, the ship was still the Carnival Triumph so I was a bit nervous about what it would be like considering the reviews ...

My maiden cruise was awesome. Group of 61 . We had an absolute ball. Fun and action every where you turn. Embarkation literally took 15 minutes had FTTF. Room was ready and we were in it by 11:15 am. Chris was a gem of a cruise director, Serenity deck is the perfect place to unwind after a day off excursions. Ship is clean all staff encountered were all attentive helpful and had bubbly ...

We took this as our first cruise. It was my birthday that week. We didn't make it to Bermuda, however we had a great time. The dining staff(Eddy. Riafin and one other ) were fantastic. All the staff including room staff was fantastic! We will definitely cruise with Carnival Sunrise again! For being on the ship 5 out of 6 days we were always enertained. The shows were incredible! The talent on that ...

$200 million dollar renovation? Let's start with my room. We had a grand sweet, room 7295. We had dirty water from someone else's room leaking into our bathroom. It was so bad that mold was growing. And not sure exactly what we were walking in, shower water, toilet water? It took 6 days and 5 visits to be fixed, and we had to be out of our room for 5 hours while thru fixed it. We had to keep ...

Cruise on Carnival Sunrise 8/7/2019 thru 8/15/2019 Booked a Suite on Deck 7, Family of 2 Adults and 2 Children. We had 11:30/ 12:00 am Boarding time. When we got to the cruise port it was easy to get into the terminal. First of all, I expected to see a Gorgeous ship after a 200-million-dollar refurbishment. Since we had a Suite, we had priority boarding, which I was told that we ...

Booked this cruise for my grandson's 16th birthday celebration. As we live in NJ, a NYC departure was a no-brainer for convenience and, as repeat Carnival cruisers, my wife and I were looking forward to a typical Carnival cruise experience. My daughter and son-in-law and our three grandchildren had a less than satisfactory cruise with NCL last year and we assured them that Carnival would provide a ...

Before I get into the pros & cons of our cruise let me state that anyone who takes a Carnival Cruise and has a boring time or is left hungry it's your own fault!!! We are just short of being Platinum guests and we have experienced many levels of satisfaction on the Carnival ships we have sailed. We have been away from Carnival for two years due a very bad experience (Splendor) and Carnivals lack ...

Book another cruise, it’s not a vacation, this experience only consists of many many lines. The buffet area is really small to accommodate all the passengers, the line is constantly very long to get food. People would take their time picking out what they want slowly in the pile of food which also delays the line. Then you have people that are afraid to line up again, (after about 15-20 minutes ...
