Needed a cruise that left after Christmas and this fit the bill and was longer than other companies offered. The ship looks like it needs an update. The decorations are outdated and very pink, seats are cracked and it needs a facelift. Not much to do on the ship in terms of activities. Two waterslides and mini golf did not hold my children's attention (ages 10, 12) and they did not want to go ...
For first time cruisers , the itinerary was 3 stops we had not encountered previously . Snorkeling in Turks/Caicos 2 days after Christmas made the trip for me . My own fault I didn’t book an island tour of Half moon cay in advance , but the island has plenty of beach and a hike up the coast shows off crabs and sea urchins . Nassau , well , is Nassau and we did take a tour of Nassau proper and ...
We loved the splendor, pink donuts and all. The spa was fantastic--huge and lots of great thermal rooms plus a thalassotherapy pool. There was a sauna and steam in the locker rooms for everyone, near the machines. There were 2 relaxation rooms, one upstairs. There were 2 additional steam rooms, and 2 other rooms with warm chairs. The aromatherapy steam room had a button to press where cool ...
Took a bit to get over the decor. Not pretty. The ship is nice, the cabin was more than adequate. Inside, deck 1.
The entertainment was not good at all. The shows although they had good themes and possibilities, the singers with the exception of one girl... were awful. They tortured songs from the 50's to the 90's.
The cruise director MarQ was absolutely by far the best Cruise ...
Overall the ship was ran well, Carnival has been at this for a long time and have ironed out all of the wrinkles in giving people the most bang for the buck. The ship is not bad ,although the decor was not very impressive, nothing like the Victory was when it was new. The food on the Lido deck and the dining rooms were excellent. The service in the dining rooms were hit and miss, depending on ...
The cruise itself was great. Embarkation and Debarkation were the worst we have ever had and this was our 21st cruise! Totally disorganized and poorly managed. The ship was a little worn here and there but overall pretty good. The pink "doughnuts" everywhere were a bit jarring. Loved the decor in the El Morocco lounge with the palm trees, etc. We only say one of the nightly shows in the ...
Cabin was under pool/ lido deck tables and chairs, heard scraping movement from 4:00 am, to 12:30 am. The movie by the sea people were noisier than the ones at the pool during the day !!! Our cabin 8335 is directly under this area. DO NOT B OOK this cabin, or ask CARNIVAL to re- insulate the room!!
No rest on my FALL BREAK!!! Cabin itself was fine, just the noises above!!!
The ship was ...
My husband and I took this cruise from Fort Lauderdale for our honeymoon. The original itinerary changed unfortunately due to the hurricanes which was out of Carnivals control. It was switched from St Marten, St Kitts, Puerto Rico and Grand Turks to Princess Cays, Ocho Rios, Grand Caymen and Cozumel. When we got onto the ship our bags took about 3 hours to come to our room so make sure you have ...
We selected this cruise for its original itinerary. Eastern Caribbean. Due to hurricane Irma and hurricane Maria, it was changed by Carnival to the Western Caribbean. Our ports were Cozumel (our 4th time there), Belize, Mahagony Bay Honduras and Grand Cayman. At Cozumel we all just walked around port and rain came after about a hour and a half, so back to ship. Belize was nice (two of us ...
