We loved the splendor, pink donuts and all. The spa was fantastic--huge and lots of great thermal rooms plus a thalassotherapy pool. Took a bit to get over the decor. Not pretty. The ship is nice, the cabin was more than adequate. Inside, deck 1.
The entertainment was not good at all. The shows although they had good themes and possibilities, the singers with the exception of one girl... were awful. They tortured songs from the 50's to the 90's.

Overall the ship was ran well, Carnival has been at this for a long time and have ironed out all of the wrinkles in giving people the most bang for the buck. The cruise itself was great. Embarkation and Debarkation were the worst we have ever had and this was our 21st cruise! Totally disorganized and poorly managed. Cabin was under pool/ lido deck tables and chairs, heard scraping movement from 4:00 am, to 12:30 am. The movie by the sea people were noisier than the ones at the pool during the day !!! Our cabin 8335 is directly under this area. DO NOT B OOK this cabin, or ask CARNIVAL to re- insulate the room!!

We selected this cruise for its original itinerary. Eastern Caribbean. Due to hurricane Irma and hurricane Maria, it was changed by Carnival to the Western Caribbean.
