I loved this cabin! The balcony was huge and we used it often. The room was good size for a cruise ship. The bathroom was well maintained. There are HUGE windows that were amazing. I would love to cruise in this cabin again. Read entire member review >>
6450 is behind another door – so the cabin next to us AND us had a second door – it was nice for privacy and noise level. Our sign and sail cards were in an envelope in our mail slot exactly where they were supposed to be. As we walked in to the cabin, I headed straight for the deck. It was so big, we had 3 regular chairs, 3 lounger chairs and 2 little tables. The room is an odd shape, so the head of the bed was facing the aft corner – the bathroom was near the left side of the bed. The couch was also along the left side of the bed. The right side of the bed was the windows to the deck. Standard closets, drawers, safe and cooler. The TV – OMG it was DINKY! Didn’t use it often, but when we checked the menu, the map or checked the charges on our SS cards, you had to stand up directly in front of it. The little coffee table moved around; it was not anchored to the floor, thankfully. And there was a sitting chair in the corner that ended up being the catch-all for our clothes. Because we were on 6 and had only cabins above us, the noise was minimal. However, the deck door to the cabin next door slammed ALL THE TIME. IN – OUT – IN – OUT…holy cow! Some of our travel companions had an Aft Wrap on Deck 8 and heard all the chairs being moved around on Lido all the time. Their balcony had more side balcony, ours had more aft. Theirs was set up a little different than ours as well. But 6450 was amazing. We did get soot on the deck on sea days (not a lot) and we got a LOT of trash (food) from jerks throwing stuff over the side of the ship. Our room steward, Agus, was amazing. We did opt for “one time a day” cleaning – it wasn’t really necessary for two in my opinion. We had wonderful towel animals every day and Agus was always spot on clean. Every time he saw us in the corridors, he would ask how we were or what we were doing. Thank you Agus! You gave us exceptional customer service! Read entire member review >>
Awesome Cabin!! Spend the extra $$ for this cabin but need to book it way ahead of time, January cruises sell out these cabins in March, 9th cruise and will never book another room but this, fit 6 people comfortable on balcony when other balcony only fit 2 comfortably, see side of ship as well as back, its like little private party spot for my kids and their friends, ages 19-22,, best cabin ever on a cruise,, back is best kept secret also!! The enormous balcony is almost like a second room when the weather is nice. It's great for special occasions or when you are travelling with a large group, like we were. The room is an odd shape, but it feels very spacious and there was plenty of storage. I was booked into the room with my husband and two-year old daughter. However, my 20 year old son, who was booked into a room with other family members, saw our room, he moved himself in. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us. Read entire member review >>
Great Cabin - extremely spacious balcony and very spacious cabin. That's what we paid extra for :)Some noise from pool deck directly above, during the day, but if you spend a lot of time on your balcony, you won't notice it so much! Nap time in the cabin can be problematic, however. Night time is fine. Read entire member review >>
Premium Vista Balcony, descent closet space, not as much draw space, bathroom is the typical cruise ship bathroom, descent size room with space to actually move and a great balcony that you can literally have a party on! Read entire member review >>
We were in 1044 a SPA balcony on the Port side, up very high and near the front of the ship. It was the best part of the cruise with outstanding service from our steward and always very neat and clean. This was our second Carnival SPA balcony cruise and were not let down at all. On long cruises we like this stateroom and do not hesitate to spend the extra money. The poor weather limited our time on the balcony but we still would have taken this location. For some reason, we like the Port side, as it enables us to learn the ship quickly. Read entire member review >>
Great room. Incredible balcony - huge - 6450. Wraparound, great views. Quieter because there is a separate alcove & extra door for entrance. The back of the ship was cool, but it seemed we sure walked a lot. The ship is long & when we got on & looked at the end of the ship towards our room, it seemed a long way off. But it was worth it. 6450 - Carnival Splendor. Quiet hallway due to extra door access. Incredible balcony. Room seemed larger than the norm. Awesome view. Could smell smoking from crew smoking lounge. Read entire member review >>
