A Pleasant Surprise ! By: Fun in the Florida Sun
This is a basic cabin, somewhat small but sufficient. The only thing I did not like was noise from the anchor chain as the cabin is near the bow (front) of the ship, and one night I could hear water splashing up on the ship and could not sleep.

It was alright. The shower curtain was broke. They could have fixed it but didn't. A few small minor things were also wrong.

Cabin 2221
Jan 2015
This was our first Carnival cruise and the first one with the kids. We had 2 cruises before with NCL and had experience with the inside cabins so we were a little bit afraid about the space. We were looking for a budget cabin and bought PT 2221 on the price of inside cabin. And it appered to be a great deal. The cabin was much bigger and deeper than the insides and was very spasious. We never experienced shortage of space and al the times felt comfortable. And there is also daylight from the portholes as a bonus. Yes, somethimes it is noisy probably from the anchor but actually it was not a big deal as it happens early in the morning only 3 days per 7 days cruise. I liked it very much and felt lucky about the decision to book this cabin.

So Fun! By: crazytranscriptionist
2221 Priced as an inside cabin but had 2 portholes, so there was some light. It was typical. Good closet space. There were 2 huge drawers under the couch bed that we didn't know about until the end of the cruise. We were too close to the anchor and motors that pushed the ship sideways so it was extremely noisy when dropping anchor or pushing away from the dock. If I was still paying for an inside room, I'd rather be further away from the anchor and have no light. We were also 1 floor under the theater and occasionally we'd hear a saxophone.

Cabin 2220
Sep 2011
Our cabin was great. We had 2 porthole windows that were great. Very spacious room. The couch converted to a sofa bed for our 3 year old. A lot of closet space as well. Refrigerator was really small considering they put their stuff in it.
