Have been on spirit before ..4 times encouraged a group of 9 to go on this cruise and asked to b seated in the middle area of dining .Bottom level so we could see everything that was going on..And was put in a corner behind a service area where we could see nothing..Asked again and was moved 3 tables away ..The food in the buffet at breakfast and lunch was nearly always burnt and hard..The laundry ...

We were excited to go on the Carnival Spirit once again (this was our 3rd time with Carnival). Things started off rocky when we were advised that one of our ports Mare would not be visited due to ship maintenance. We got a $50 per person credit on our accounts but was looking forward to going there as i haven't been there yet. Once on board it was a pleasurable experience, The ship was ...

We were part of a large family group on this cruise. The ship is well setup for families with teens and younger children, and being a holiday cruise there were lots of them - everywhere! You have to keep in mind, Carnival is a 3 star cruise line, so don't expect the same level of service and amenity you might get with other " relatives" of the Carnival family. However, it is definitely ...

choose this one as it suited our budget, we could pay it off through flight centre and the dates worked for us. Being our 1st cruise we were extremely excited. My husband loved it, myself was a little disappointed. 1. on arrival on ship and sitting in the Lido area noticed the large windows were absolutely filthy, so looking outside to the blue waters was annoying. 2. Stage shows very ...

1. The crew were fantastic, Rai looked after our cabin really well and kept it nice and clean, Deck 9 Marian and Sukra were awesome, Marian was always flat out cleaning up and Sukra was very attentive in brining me drinks. 2. Cabin was a bit squishy in 1132 and hard for my mother to access with a disability and the wheel chair didn't fit. 3. The ship was beautiful. 4. The food on deck 9 ...

We are middle age, work together in a high pressure business so was looking for a cruise that we could unwind and relax, we chose this cruise at it had numerous sea days which we enjoy as we can get to do as we please, no pressure to be up early to get to a shore excursion etc. We have been to fiji previously and an island is an island so the destinations were not an issue for us but all beautiful ...

Did basically the same cruise almost 4 years ago,on the same ship, and after having a fabulous time on that cruise, that we decided we would do the same cruise again. What a huge disappointment it was.Previously we had an Oceanview Cabin, but this time we had just an indoor cabin.Huge mistake!!!Our cabin was directly below the Operations Room for the Gaming Room.No problem whatsoever with the Gaming ...

Fine for young families, but experienced cruisers will be disappointed

If you are a family with kids, and have not cruised before, you will have a good holiday, and some elements were handled very well. However Carnival overall simply does not meet the standards set by other cruise lines we have experienced EMBARKATION was quicker than other lines, and bags were also at our cabin more quickly. The ship is kept beautifully clean, but the decor is a jumbled ...
