We choose this cruise specifically for the destination, we didnt disagree with the captian changing the destination based on safety concerns with the weather but dont feel we were sufficiently conspensated for that change as a cruise to freeport would have been much cheaper. The Spirit is an older ship and a smaller ship than the new ships being produced these days. I enjoyed the ship and never felt like I was living in the past. Chose this cruise because it didn’t involve going to an airport. Easy embarkation for my 77 year old mum. Driven straight to the door of the ship. We joined the ship in sydney as part of a bigger trip from the UK visiting friends.
