I cannot tell how excited my family was for this cruise! With the exception of a few, my concierge John, our wait staff (Amazing) and the ladies who did our nails and the manager of the spa...Everyone else seemed like they were being held captive! I kept asking "how long have you been on"? It was insane! The activities director Sucked! Seriously, my daughter is 31 and she was bored out of her ...

We chose this sailing because the price for 2 people in a balcony. But we soon found out why. Our balcony was so spongy we were afraid if both of us were using it at the same time we were risking collapse. Also upon boarding we headed to the serenity adult section of the deck. The pool out there was dark green! And people were using it the entire trip with it like this. The night of boarding we ...

This was mine and my husbands' third cruise with Carnival and only Carnival. It started off bad when we called Carnival several times to make sure we did not need a passport..we were told No every time but they failed to mention that we would need a passport for most excursions. So we were left with excursions we weren't interested in. The Carnival employees at the Seattle airport and the bus ...

We left Seattle WA on 9/13/2011 for a cruise to Alaska. It was our 3rd cruise on Carnival. We cruised to 3 Alaska cities on the inward passage. We were disappointed with the food served in the dining room and in the regular restaurant. The food was cold and not much of a selection in either place. We felt it was much too expensive to spend 30 dollars per person to eat in the fancier restaurants ...

Lets start off with the good things. First Alaska is beautiful and the weather for the trip was generally wonderful. The ports are fun and there was a lot to do. (Note: we saved a lot of money waiting to book excursions until we got off the boat) Our cabin steward Putu was GREAT, and the cruise director staff does a good job of making the days fun. The dining room food was generally very good. The ...

We just came back from 7 days Alaska cruise from Whittier to Vancouver on Carnival Spirit. Alaska is unbelievable beautiful, I am sure we will go back again. Carnival or even cruising, we are not so sure. Food: Very very bad. We have read from several books that Carnival has one of the best cuisines among mainstream cruise lines. All I can say is I can't imagine how the food can be ...

This was our second cruise to Alaska. Our first on Carnival. Without question, Alaska is still just a beautiful. The ports of call are wonderful. The shore excursions, especially those from Allen Marine Tours, are great. We were disappointed in our time on the Carnival Spirit. Since we enjoy looking at the beautiful scenery in Alaska we expected a ship sailing there to have a lounge with great ...

First off I will give you a little background about my husband & myself. I am 38 & my husband is 49 (acts a lot younger). We have been on 2 previous cruises with Princess & Royal Caribbean. This was our 1st with Carnival. We are both pretty easy going & love cruising. Plan to do a lot more of it in the future. We arrived in Anchorage the day before. We had transfers (through carnival) to ...
