Carnival Southern Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Vista

I chose and love Carnival because it's the fun ship. And boy did she deliver. I cruised with my sis Dutch who loves to have a good time. We did almost everything. Our down time was spent in the Serinity section of Vista. There the drinks flowed, of course, and we talked about and planned our next adventures. On board the Vista, we tried the Sky ride. Omg, I felt a rush, A rush of what I ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Splendor

Took a Carnival Cruise in 2014 in the Eastern Caribbean and have cruised about 5 times. So we decided to go again on Carnival Splendor to Southern Caribbean. Although my wife and I have a good time, a number of issues on the cruise occurred. The ship was not in the best of shape. Things such as tiles falling off all around the swimming pool to the TV never working correctly occurred on the ...

Very Good Overall With Some Minor Issues

This was our 6th cruise overall and the 5th on Carnival, but our first in about 3 years. This was also our first cruise with our daughter (who just turned 2). It was also our first "group" Carnival cruise - there were 11 of us. Overall we had a great time but there were some minor issues. We don't use Carnival for excursions - we book our own. We had a great time in Grand Turk and Curacao, ...

We really enjoyed our cruise last week on the Carnival Splendor. I was a little timid given the experience we had last time out on a different Carnival Ship but I am glad my wife talked me into giving it another chance. Let me tell you the positives. They had the best cruise ship band I have ever heard. It was called Daytime Television and it seemed like they could play just about anything ...

Third time on this ship

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Splendor

So this is my sixth cruise, fourth cruise on Carnival and third time on the Splendor. I chose this itinerary because I love Aruba and wanted to see what Curacao was like. Grand Turk has become so commercialized. The locals are selling their own beach rentals in front of the cruise umbrellas and you can't see the beach. We did a fun extreme zip lining in the Dom, Rep. and frankly unless I was at ...

I am a little late getting this review up. We sailed on the Splendor out of Fort Lauderdale on Aug. 5th. It was an 8 day with stops in Grand Turk, Aruba, Curacao, and La Romana, D.R. We flew down the night before from Cincinnati and stayed at a Hilton the had 24 hr airport pickup. We didn't land till 11pm. The next morning we took and uber over to the port with no problems. We did have to ...

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Vista

My family and I chose the Carnival Vista leaving out of Miami, because is was a new ship and a very big ship. We have been on Carnivals smaller ships and now we wanted to try the bigger ship. Also, we chose this ship because of the itinerary. The Vista went to Caribbean islands that we have never been to and wanted to see them, like Aruba, Curacao, La Romana, Dominican Republic. The only island ...

Embarkation in Miami was SO FAST and smooth.. We got in right at a sweet spot (2:30- 3 was my arrival time). Security didn't open our carry ons which amazed me bc we all brought on wine and 12 packs of sparkling water. We happened to have like no lines to get on the ship... it was a WOW experience which made up for horrible Miami traffic. We were all smiles! They keys were in the mail box ...

Chose this cruise for the new ship as we've sailed on many other Carnival ships with a Platinum status. We wanted the biggest and newest ship and the itinerary was appealing for our 20th wedding anniversary. I mention the Platinum status simply to preface that some of the negative things I read about we don't experience.  The embarkation process is first rate for FTTF and status passengers.  The ...
