This was a "replacement" of a Mexican Riviera cruise that was cancelled during the pandemic. We chose Carnival's newest ship and a destination (Southern Caribbean) that we had never been to. As one other reviewer stated, the ship isn't even a year old and it's already in need of repairs. The Lido deck stairs are falling apart. The adhesive that was used cannot tolerate the heat and it just melts and splits. They actually used duck tape to hold the stairs together. If I had one phrase to describe my trip on the Carnival Spirit, I would say "so-so." Overall, I would say that if you are traveling with kids, this is certainly not the ship I would spend my money on.
