The steak house was fantastic little pricey but worth it the buffet needs work. Went on 2 excursions 1st too the myan ruins lots of walking and climbing so if you have back or leg issues I don't recommend, 2 vip Beach trip well worth the money food and staffing just fantastic. Spa was great got the body scrub and massage lasted 50 minutes. Karaoke was a blast everyone there was very supportive of ...

Best food I've ever tasted

First time ever on Carnival. Been on RCCL 5 times over 24 years. The Magic has the best food not only in the dining room, but with Guy Fieri's Pig & Anchor BBQ and Emeril's signature dishes on every night's main dining room menu, this is the ship to eat!!! I never usually order 2 appetizers or entrees, but I did on this ship. Absolutely YUMMY! Entertainment was also top notch in the theater. ...

It is always good to be a sea. Here are a few things I wish I knew on this cruise. PARKING. Its been a few years (and maybe 40 cruises ago) we sailed out of Tampa. Thankfully we were close enough to drive. Frankly it is a bit confusing because the lots near the ship are not ship parking, they are for the aquarium. Do not attempt to park near the ship. The ship parking is a 4 story ...

Got a great offer, our 1st room was extremely loud from the engines, they moved us to a higher floor at center ship...They made up for it by paying our liquor bill...Very happy with there customer service. The only issue with the cabins is that there were no couches or chairs in them, and there was room for them.Guys burgers were amazing and the coffee was great. The other issue was that the pool it ...

Family Fun Time on a Fun Ship

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Valor

We selected a Carnival Valor cruise, because the New Orleans port was easy for all of us to get to and a five-night cruise seemed to be the right length for both the first-time cruisers and the "gold status" cruisers. The ship was packed, and you could really notice that on embarkation day and in between the end of early dinner and the beginning of late dinner, as well as at some of the bars in ...

So my family has been taking annual trips on Father’s Day for about 18 hrs now. E found this cruise with the same dates so decided to go for it! Carnival didn’t disappoint! I read reviews and surveyed anyone I could find who had cruised before. Mixed reviews but surprisingly I encountered many who had been on this cruise. The ship is beautiful but slightly dated. I was fine with that. I thought ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

We combined a trip to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans with this cruise. This was the only reason for selecting the Glory. Our hotel (Holiday Inn Express) is a little over a half mile from the cruise terminal but after walking the Riverwalk and Convention Center, I don't think that there is a way to get there other than by taxi. Cost was around $20. We had an early check in time and from ...

Overall good - but not my favorite cruise

We thought it would be fun to cruise out of New Orleans. Getting on the ship was a breeze! We had a suite so it was the first time we had priority boarding. We got to the port at 11:15 and were on the ship eating lunch by 11:30. Sail away was awesome - very cool to sail though the city and down the Mississippi. Our room steward, Webster was AMAZING. He took good care of us and also always started ...

We have cruised several times with Carnival and we have not been disappointed. It is always a fun and pleasant experience doing Carnival Cruises, for me and my husband. Galveston, Texas is our homeport- with only 5 hours of driving. We decided to do a short (6-day) cruise from Galveston after a somewhat long 2022 Carnival Mediterranean Cruise and several days of pre-post cruise stay in Rome ...

Long weekend away

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Paradise

My husband and I traveled with 2 other couples (all 4 first time cruisers). I'm at gold status so I was able to get a deal when booking this sailing, and did the booking for the others. I purchased "Faster to the Fun" and had an extremely quick and easy process when getting on board, maybe an hour in total. Once on board we dropped our stuff off at the room and went to the buffet for some ...
