Carnival Singapore Cruise Reviews

Here is a screenshot of the listed open time for Guy's Burger Bar that they suddenly removed after I went back and forth with Guest Services and back and forth to Guy's Burger Bar when they stated on the app and Guest Services that they were open, but then was told by a crew member after waiting 10 minutes for him to address me that they were not open at that time.
Ministry of Magic (Atrium).
This is the entire buffet
Very small buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner

went on this cruise as it was repositioning and bringing Splendor to Australia for it's inaugural season. I travelled with a group of friends who also love to cruise. We enjoyed it very much even with the teething problems which were soon sorted. Cruise Director Lee was fabulous and worked so hard for the entire trip....always a pleasure to be around. Entertainment was great.....shows ...

The splendour has been in Singapore for a re fit. Apparently millions spent on it.would like to know where. Tiniest room we have ever had on a cruise 7416. cannot pass each other. if your in your wardrobe beware of toilet door knocking you out. we have come from NZ to join her for the repositioning to Sydney. Well got off 1 1/2 hours late but that was ok rooms were ready cases there by the time we ...

Relocation Cruise, Singapore to Sydney

Review for Carnival Splendor to Trans-Ocean

We chose this cruise for a couple of reasons - firstly because it was sailing out of Singapore and we hadn't done that before, and secondly because one of the ports was Komodo Island which we were looking forward to very much. Embarkation day was a complete mess. The port authority process was ok but then we went to the check in counter for Carnival where we were given receipts for our ...

I wanted to try the new ship and join her to come to Sydney From Singapore, I stayed in cabin 7276 Interior, This was not a nice cabin, the bed shook all night long as it was next door to the electrical room,Hardly any sleep. The cabins are a good size, I went solo but this cabin would be for a triple. Food in the Bistro area, was very plain and same nearly every day which is a shame as variety ...

Have had previous cruises with carnival but unfortunately this one was well below the standard of those.Embarkation was undisciplined and chaotic, most would have been given a specific boarding time but it appeared no one took notice of it, board as soon as possible. No organisation of crowd. Washing machines in the laundry was another dogs breakfast with only 1 machine available for 3000 ...

Disappointing cruise.

We chose this cruise for the cheap price that was offered at the time of booking. It was disappointing from start to finish. The embarcation was a shamozole. No one seemed to know what they were doing. The food in the buffet section was very ordinary to some other ships we have been on. The lines were long and you had to be lucky to find a seat to sit down on. I will say that the restaurant's are ...

Carnival Splendor - Chaos from start to finish

I had sailed on the Splendor in 2013 from Santiago to Buenos Aires. It was wonderful. When I heard that the Splendor was being repositioned from Singapore to Sydney, I was really looking forward cruise. The cruise had to be booked through the Australian department but that meant finding the 800 number. But it was a disaster from start to finish. Carnival has two departments - the US and ...

I choose this cruise as the Splendor was in dry dock in Singapore before relocating to Australia and thought that the itinerary would suit my wife and myself . How wrong was I . Embarkation was a disaster . The check in people didn't open the desks for nearly 2 hrs after they were supposed to and then there was a stampede of people all trying to get on board at the same time . They should have ...

As a family foursome travelling in 2 cabins we joined the Carnival Splendor in Singapore for a 15 night relocation cruise back to Sydney after a multi million dollar refit in Singapore. The ship which caters for more than 3000 passengers is the largest Carnival ship to be home ported in Sydney. Passengers were confused in trying to move from one end of the ship to the other as there were ...

Carnival Splendor - Just Okay

Review for Carnival Splendor to Asia

User Avatar

The Carnival Splendor has been given a makeover and spruced up a bit so as to operate out of Australia. A paint job and some new furniture cannot alter the fact that it has some really hideous decor. Attempts have been made to disguise some of it. The corridors and cabins are okay but the main areas where the designers (who must have been on drugs) were really let loose would require ripping ...
