went on this cruise as it was repositioning and bringing Splendor to Australia for it's inaugural season. I travelled with a group of friends who also love to cruise.
We enjoyed it very much even with the teething problems which were soon sorted.
Cruise Director Lee was fabulous and worked so hard for the entire trip....always a pleasure to be around.

The splendour has been in Singapore for a re fit. Apparently millions spent on it.would like to know where. Tiniest room we have ever had on a cruise 7416. cannot pass each other. if your in your wardrobe beware of toilet door knocking you out. we have come from NZ to join her for the repositioning to Sydney. We chose this cruise for a couple of reasons - firstly because it was sailing out of Singapore and we hadn't done that before, and secondly because one of the ports was Komodo Island which we were looking forward to very much.

Have had previous cruises with carnival but unfortunately this one was well below the standard of those.Embarkation was undisciplined and chaotic, most would have been given a specific boarding time but it appeared no one took notice of it, board as soon as possible.No organisation of crowd.

We chose this cruise for the cheap price that was offered at the time of booking. It was disappointing from start to finish. The embarcation was a shamozole. No one seemed to know what they were doing. The food in the buffet section was very ordinary to some other ships we have been on. I had sailed on the Splendor in 2013 from Santiago to Buenos Aires. It was wonderful. When I heard that the Splendor was being repositioned from Singapore to Sydney, I was really looking forward cruise.

As a family foursome travelling in 2 cabins we joined the Carnival Splendor in Singapore for a 15 night relocation cruise back to Sydney after a multi million dollar refit in Singapore.
