We are are family of four and we cruise every Christmas and then some. This has to be our 6th Carnival cruise and we are rating it as one of our worst. We chose this particular 6 night cruise because we had time constraints.
Embarking was almost foolproof, very organized and it took us less than 45 minutes to get onto the ship. The Sensation is a smaller ship than we are used to but that wasn’t ...
Ship needs to be updated. Plumbing problems which resulted in the constant gurgling in the shower. Guest services was very attentive but the problem persisted the whole cruise. A constant banging on the pipes most mornings. That was an irritant. We were on a much needed vacation. Rest was so needed.
Our dining staff was awesome! Our Lido Deck selections were very tasteful. The staff we pass ...
My cousin chose this cruise for her 28th birthday. We overall enjoyed ourselves because we have a good time no matter where we are. But i must say carnival nickels and dimes you for everything. The fee for wi-fi is outrageous. Fresh clean drinking water is a rare commodity. The water you get from the soft drink dispenser taste like sewer water. The only soft drinks they offer after breakfast is ...
As I first boarded the ship, I wasn't prepared for how small and aged the ship was going to be. Being my 7th cruise, this was the smallest ship I have cruised on. The overall decor of the ship was outdated (carpets, walls, signage, etc.) and everything was purple.
As far as entertainment on board, the broadway style shows and comedian acts were both fantastic. Our cruise director, Deon, was ...
My daughters booked this cruise for themselves and several college friends and I tagged along. I was reading the reviews after she booked and got very worried! We've been on Carnival cruise before but never this ship. I literally imagined I was going to be stepping into a sewage filled, awful smelling, very very very old, dated ship with disgusting food and boring entertainment.
Let me ASSURE ...
I was invited to join a birthday group traveling to the Bahamas. We cruised on the Carnival Sensation. The staff was quite friendly, I must say! Our steward was very outgoing (the three times we saw him), our dining room service team of Alex, Soe, and Karla was magnificent, and the cruise director Deon kept the party going! Those were the very best parts.
The cruise ship is kept pretty clean. ...
Went on this trip with my family and a travel group. My second time traveling with this group and had a lovely time.
We left from Miami to Princess Cay Island which was lovely. This island is privately owned by cruise company and the you can use your room key to purchase here. Also Carnival provided lunch on the island. Next stop was Nassau, Bahamas we did a guided tour this time 20.00 per ...
The entire ship smelled like sewage, which made it hard to enjoy sitting outside at all. Our room smelled. I had a headache most of the time. The door to the dining room completely came off in my hand. There were spit balls on the ceiling of the room, there was a ring in the toilet the entire time as if it hadn't been cleaned, one of the lights in the bathroom was old and broken, the towel rack ...
Family vacation with friends, the cruise was on 4 days , 2 days was at sea with not much todo and one of the days was at half moon cay which was just hanging at the beach all day, no shopping just on the beach! And the free water and lemonade was too far away to walk back and forth! The food could have been better on the cruise, no variety same food everyday! Orlando and Deon were great ...
The entertainment on this ship is literally amazing! The cast should be on broadway not a cruise ship! They are dedicated to making it as amazing for you as possible! They take their time and make everyone feel special! The room attendants are awesome! They work way to hard! I hope they are paid as such! Everyday my 9 year old was greeted with a different towel animal on the bed. She loved it! The ...
