Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

My wife and I went on this cruise for our 25th Anniversary. The itinerary was Grand Turk, Princess Cays and Nassau. We embarked on the ship quickly and our room was ready as soon as we boarded the ship, Our luggage was waiting for us when we boarded. The excursions were all great. We ate in the dining room most of the time we were on board the ship, but we did eat at the Burger bar and buffet a ...

Our not-Cuba cruise that became a great get away

We are a 40'ish couple from Texas traveling without our kids. We chose the cruise to get to visit Cuba and had it booked before the latest change in June that Americans cannot travel to Cuba, so cruise ships would not longer be able to stop there. Carnival offered a free cancel or a generous OBC due to the change. The airline offered no generous change option. We are not Carnival's target ...

Ship needs to be updated. Plumbing problems which resulted in the constant gurgling in the shower. Guest services was very attentive but the problem persisted the whole cruise. A constant banging on the pipes most mornings. That was an irritant. We were on a much needed vacation. Rest was so needed. Our dining staff was awesome! Our Lido Deck selections were very tasteful. The staff we pass ...

Platinum cruisers. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and cruise length. Embarkation in Miami was the best we have ever experienced in Miami. Parking garage could use a bit of TLC but overall the experience was good. Arrived at 10:50am and we were on the ship at 11:00am. Cabin was ready so we were able to drop off some carry on items and go to explore the ship. Cabin was a bit ...

My mom and I booked this cruise solely to go to Cuba, as it is one of the few ports in the Caribbean we have yet to travel to. When the travel ban was enacted on Cuba two months prior to our cruise, we were beyond disappointed. Carnival compensated us with $100 onboard credit per person (plus I believe $27 back in port expenses), or the ability to cancel our cruise with a full refund. In ...

We always have great experiences on Carnival. You could definitely tell the ship was in an older class. The paint was chipping and rusting all over the ship. That is the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Our room steward, Leonardo was very personable and was there for all our needs. The dining was EXCELLENT whether you ate in the ...

Some people just love to complain!

We chose this cruise because the itinerary included Cuba, which we wanted to visit. I most likely wouldn't have chosen this ship otherwise. That said, I don't get what all the complaints are about! I'm on my 20th Carnival cruise so I've seen a lot of ships. It's true this one is smaller and doesn't have a few amenities like the Seaside Theatre but it still had plenty of other things you would find ...

Great itinerary on an older ship

First off embarkation and debarkation were a total breeeze. Everything went smoothly and getting off the ship in Cuba and through customs was about a 10 minute process. Everyone was extremely organized. I have read other horror stories about going through customs in Cuba and in my experience they were all exaggerations. The upgrades to the states rooms were well thought, as we all know outlets ...

Paradise Review – April 2019 5-night cruise from Tampa to Key West, Havana and Cozumel departure on Monday, April 8 and return on Saturday, April 13. This is a long review because we spent several days in Tampa prior to the cruise and have a lot to say about Cuba. We are a couple in our mid-50’s. Pre-cruise Hotel We drove from South Carolina to the Tampa Bay area several days prior to the ...

A nice cruise, but the highlight was the Port Day in Havana

Our group of 5 made a last-minute decision to book this cruise, and we grabbed what seemed to be one of the last 2 or 3 cabins available about 2 weeks before departure. A few days later, we then added another cabin for 2 grandparents who wanted to join as well. I was shocked that our family of 5 (mom, dad, and kids ages 14, 11, and 7) would be able to fit in one cabin, but we did. We would ...
