We chose this cruise for the itinerary which did not disappoint at all! The service in the Cucina restaurant (special thanks to Nikoleta and Milicia who were wonderful) was top notch as was the food. We ate there 3x it was so good as was the steakhouse (1x). The Blue Iguana tequila bar had excellent service as well (Maryann, Borko and Richard are the best bartenders on the ship!).

First, I was to be front, and advise that I prefer RCCL, over Carnival. However, I had an incredible Players Club casino offer, eight nights for $373, interior cabin.
The interior cabin was standard accommodations. Very roomy for a solo traveler. My cabin steward, Randy was very attentive and promptly filled my requests.
FOOD: The Lido buffet on deck 10 had standard fare, adequate but not ...
My office went on a cruise, and we chose this trip based on dates of availability. There were some things I enjoyed - we had a good time playing trivia, the food was good, and most of the staff were very nice. Here are my issues:
- It took FOREVER to get a drink at any bar on the ship. Bartenders were extremely slow and I was served one of the worst drinks I had ever had.
- The entire fifth ...
It seems Carnival sends their worst ships to New Orleans and cuts services and amenities. In talking to people who have sailed from other ports, Carnival has maintained the services and amenities on those ships. It would be different if Carnival were treating other ports the same, but that is not what I am discovering.
I sailed the Carnival Triumph in 2017, which was sorely in need of ...

This cruise line was chosen by a friend for an all-girls cruise. First, this is an older ship, in dire need of a remodel. The decor was fine, just worn. Our shower was moldy and the faucet at the sink was broken, yet functional. Only one American outlet in the entire cabin. So, bring a multi-port extension or power converter for European voltage. And, there are no power charging stations onboard. ...
Background: This was my 12th cruise on Carnival and my 2nd time on the Miracle. First time was in 2006 and I remember LOVING it back then. This time around was a little different.
We originally scheduled our cruise to Cuba. When that got cancelled, we decided to still leave out of Tampa (where we live) and just pick a different itinerary. We got a $100 OBC for doing that. The Miracle came up ...
We chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary. Bermuda was one place we looked forward to visit and an overnight in Charleston was an extra plus, as there was much we enjoyed seeing in this historic city.
We enjoyed the old style Carnival ship with the atrium lobby and full length glass elevators, something that Carnival is mistakenly removing from its new ships. We feel The New Light Tower ...
the trip started out badly when we got a notification that our credit card was hit for $200 by Carnival before we even left on the trip. What! Called and told this was 'normal'. Requested a handicap cabin for spouse, It was a standard cabin with a normal shower stall but had a pull down seat. Had to take handles off scooter to get thru door. A foot high step to get into bathroom and a step ...
It was my mother's 50th birthday cruise, we had a group of approx. 34 ppl. Paulvic and Yuseph were amazing at keeping our room looking spotless. The staff was constantly cleaning so I feel like it was a sanitary environment. They even cleaned the pools nightly. My children loved camp and the staff there made me feel comfortable leaving my children with them. If a large group use walkie talkies, it ...
