Carnival San Juan Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

10 Day Journey Cruise to the Southern Caribbean

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Elation

My partner and I have done 10+ cruises on several other cruise lines including Holland America, Princess, Royal Caribbean, and a few others. This Exotic Sothern Caribbean itinerary took us to ports I had never visited. I set my expectations low based on the recent reviews and the general negativity about Carnival from past cruise mates. I am glad to say that we were extremely pleased with this ...

This was a 12 night repositioning cruise from San Juan to Galveston and it just flew by. We spent 4 nights in San Juan prior to sailing and stayed at the Coral Princess. The hotel was in a great location, reasonable and had a very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms aren't fancy but they were clean with comfortable beds and pillows. We took a cab to the ship at 11:30 AM and found the ...

Liberty Cruise New Ship, 3 New Ports and 12 Days of Cruisin!!

We're Platinum on Carnival and retired from our jobs so the longer trips are more appealing to us. We had never done a Journey cruise so that also was a positive thing, never been on the Liberty, another positive, and finally there were 3 new ports so that clinched it. The Liberty was the last ship in it's class, so we also finished a class of ships with Carnival, our favorite class. Perfect ...

First for this itinerary.....loved, loved, loved it!! Sure the boat is showing some signs of wear, who isn't and does it really stop you from having a great time!?!? Lots of fun, great service, enjoyed the food, booked all Carnival excursions, also great. We've been home 4 days and have already checked into getting back on Liberty same time next year (sad to learn Liberty won't be available ...

We like cruising out of San Juan. It's real easy to get on the ship and the Old Town section is right across the street from the pier if you want to check out San Juan after dropping off the luggage. If you have priority boarding (platinum--diamond or FTTF) you can get on the ship and drop off you carry on bags and go back out on the town since ship doesn't sail until 10 pm. We had a balcony ...

Valentine and Birthday! We were on the Liberty in 2014 and loved it. We didn't plan on having the same cruise director but was an Awesome surprise! Love Corey Rogers!! First, embarkation is way too easy! Landed in SJU and was 15 min to ship and maybe 15 min till on ship...no line!! First, we loved every minute! Complaint - went by too fast! I thought all food and service in dining room was great! ...

The taxi ride from the airport to the pier was posted at $19. Taxi driver said it was 24. He didnt have any change and I only had 20's. He took 20 but was upset that he didnt get the extra 4 dollars. My Wife and I flew in the same day as the cruise and got to explore San Juan after we dropped our luggage at Carnival. San Juan is beautiful and we took many pictures while waiting for the Boat ...

We have been on the Liberty 3 times, and have done these Southern ports of call 3 times as well. We did not stay at a hotel the day before, with the ship leaving at 10pm. However do to the SUPERBOWL we left at 11pm so people could watch the entire game. However having the safety drill at Midnight, truly was not a highlight!! But we got through it. It's nice being able to get on and off the ship ...

We are first time cruisers with 3 young children (ages 10,6 and 2) from Toronto Canada. We took a direct flight to San Juan Puerto Rico (3h 45min) to SJU. The airport displayed signs clearly for us to pick up our baggage and proceed to the taxi stand. San Juan has fixed fares between zones plus $1 for each bag. The private taxi was air conditioned and about 20 minutes from the cruise port. Once at ...

This was our third cruise and third with Carnival and we chose it because we hadn't been to most of the stops- only repeat stop was St Maarten. Our stops were St Croix, St Maarten, Dominica, Grenada, Bonaire, Aruba and Caracao. We love all of what San Juan has to offer and we stayed 2 nights (before our cruise) at a hotel in the Condado area. We had a fast and easy embarkation and once booked in ...
