We turned Gold on this sailing, and proud of it... this would make our 4th Caribbean cruise and we found it active and enjoyable but different. This was our second cruise and first on Carnival.We sailed out of San Juan, taking a taxi from the airport hotel just as embarkation was beginning. This part was a breeze, we were in our stateroom about 30 minutes after arrival. The ship was very nice although the décor was a little outdated - reminded me of the 70's!
We stayed in an inside cabin, was adequate. The steward was fantastic as was all the other crew members.

I read some of the other reviews and cannot believe we were on the same cruise. While the other reviewers were unhappy, we had a very good experience. Our second cruise and first on Carnival. Liberty is in perfect condition with all the options we could ask for as a couple. Short lines to everything but the Mongolian Wok. Zipped through embarkation (we arrived at 4 pm) and all port days were just as efficient.

Overall it was a great ship.
