Carnival San Diego Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Woo Hoo for Cabo....Boo Hoo for cruise mates

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Elation

It has been awhile since the three of planned a cruise together so we were excited to FINALLY be having a getaway together! A long trip across country to San Diego and we were on our way. I was impressed that such an expensive city offered the parking at the port for MUCH less than Miami does. Embarkation was smooth. Missed the bells and whistles that the new port in Miami has but to be honest the ...

My friend and I left on April 19th for a 4 day cruise To Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. We really didn't know what to expect, other than I had been on CC forum and had talked/ask questions of these two ports, which neither of us had visited before. When we arrive (we flew in directly from Kansas City, Missouri), we found our transportation, and they took us to the cruise ship, which is ...

This was my 23rd cruise, my 13th with Carnival, and my second cruise through the Canal. I've cruised on Elation three previous times, once in 1998 when she was brand new and twice more in the last year. Elation is one of my favorite ships: the decor is fun, the layout of the ship is very easy to navigate, and the crew is superb. I was in a 1A cabin on Riviera deck and it was perfect. New ...

This 4 day cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada was amazing. Cruises are what you make of it, and we decided to have a great time and take advantage of everything. Embarkation in San Diego was very easy and quick. The safety drill was painless, as Carnival no longer requires you to wear your life vest or pack in like sardines. The dining room service was exceptional as usual, the food was ...

This was our 10th cruise with Carnival. We enjoyed being platinum especially the free wash and fold service on a 15 day cruise this is the best. I will give the positives first. The dining room was as always. The dining experience is always one of our favorite things about cruising. We had great service and food was good to great. Our cabin stewards were also some of the best we have had in 25 ...

Cruise on Elation March 25- March 29 2010 Wednesday night my wife is asking the youngest son if he is excited about going to Disneyland, and he told her he wants to take his fun ship Freddy doll on the big boat. ( I think it is because the doll was sitting on the computer desk and he just happened to look at it as she asked him about Disneyland, either that or the kid is psychic) Thursday morning ...

This was a trip (March 11-19) to spend time with the wife and 4-year old daughter. We did a similar cruise down the Mexican Coast on NCL about a year and half ago - although there were no ports in common. Since we have only been on the two cruises, I can only compare this with the one other trip. Embarkation at San Diego. Since there is no on-site parking at the San Diego cruise terminal, we ...

We are a "senior" couple who are young at heart! We have cruised on 2 other lines but this was our first Carnival Cruise. We picked the 8 day Mexican Riviera Cruise because of its itinerary to 3 cities we had not visited before. We live in San Diego so we had a neighbor drive us to the cruise port. We arrived at about 11:50. We were through security and Carnival paperwork just a bit after noon. At ...

This was the fifth cruise for my wife and me, all aboard Carnival ships (The Imagination twice, The Conquest, and The Triumph). Because we live in Kentucky, we had always sailed out of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or New Orleans, so this was our first time boarding ship in San Diego. We own a business, and it has been hard the past two years to find time to take a cruise, so we definitely looked ...
