Carnival Rome (Civitavecchia) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Carnival Freedom - Western Mediterranean

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Carnival Freedom

I sailed out on May 25, 2007 on the Carnival Freedom and was not impressed with it. I had been on the Carnival Conquest back in May 2005 and had a much better experience. I have also sailed on Royal Caribbean and this was my 4th cruise. The meal selection on the Carnival Freedom lacks variety. The Grand Buffet was not very grand at all. I had a better Grand Buffet on the Carnival Conquest and ...

Embarkation was very smooth and we were on the ship in 20 minutes. Rome airport was great - I don't know what all the paranoid people complain about. My girlfriend and myself left our families at home and embarked on this great trip. This itinerary was so exciting that we booked this about 18 months ahead of time. We were on the 10/10/06 sailing. Embarkation took about 10 minutes which was wonderful we arrived by private car service after spending a few days in Rome. Once on board we went to our room which I thought was small compared to ...

I realize I'm late in my review (we sailed in October), but since I looked to this site for information before we (my mother, my sister and me) sailed, I thought I'd add my review to the rest. First why the cruise. Although my mother and I had been on a previous Mediterranean cruise and have travelled throughout Europe, this was my sister's first trip to Europe and my mother has difficulty in ...

Liberty is a beautiful ship but I was part of a group of 13 people. We have problems getting dining arrangements on the first night. The food was fair and breakfast especially was boring. Every other day had the same menu on the Lido deck. Debarkation was crazy when they gave us different tags and when we went to the purser to complain the day before, we were told that everything would be all ...
