Will not cruise on the Breeze again

Review for Carnival Breeze to Caribbean - Eastern

For the ports visited that we wanted to go to and living in the midwest, Orlando was not too awfully far to go. Our embarkation was the fastest and smoothest we have ever had in my 19 cruises. This is due to the workings of the Orlando port. Our cabin was an inside which is what we always get. Our dining was always at the main dining room, and it left a lot to be desired. It was the ...

Take the ship out of rotation

We were 1st time cruisers and chose this one because of the short length incase we didnt like it. We left 3 hours late from the port because the crew was still loading supplies. Then as we shoved off the was a medical emergency and had to go back. Then the boat couldn't get up to cruising speed and we were in rough waters. You felt every wave as we were only going 10-11 knots, we were told ...

Disappointing

Why did we choose this cruise? It was at a convenient time. We disembarked from Norwegian Breakaway and went directly over to Carnival Breeze on Feb.1 2020. The ship was way too cold with freezing air conditioning everywhere. The only escape from the cold was outside in the wind. We both got horrible colds. We noticed other people coughing a lot (so it was not just us). The quality of the food ...

Worse cruise ever!

Economical and ports of call. The ship had engine problems so we never made it to the Dominican Republic. Got a lousy $50 on board credit. The next day the water and winds were too rough to dock at Grand Turk. The ship vibrated on and off the entire time. The stabilizers evidently were not functioning well because we rocked severely the entire trip. Several staff were rude. The ship’s condition was ...

Review for Carnival Magic to Caribbean - Eastern

Having cruised multiple times on Royal C, Disney, and Celebrity we were accustomed to a certain level of service and quality. We chose this cruise solely on the fact the itinerary worked with everyone in our travel party's schedule. Embarkment- was easy enough-the employees seemed very stressed and not eager to answer basic questions. We figured things out on our own. Upon entering the ...

Rough Ride, Ugly Ship

Review for Carnival Breeze to Caribbean - Eastern

I sailed in December of 2019 to the Eastern Caribbean for 7 days on the Breeze - the fourth Carnival ship I have sailed on. Carnival Breeze was the roughest ride by far - the first two days we did up to 45 knots to get to our first port of call, and the entire Breeze wallowed, shook and rattled at that speed, which made sleeping difficult. The Breeze is not an attractive ship. It's interior is ...

I've been cruising for 40 years, starting in 1978 on the emerald seas. I've taken over 40 cruises and am a gold carnival member. We took advantage of the many hotels that offer a park and cruise program where you can stay the night before departure and leave your car in their parking lot and take a shuttle to the port. We swore off carnival a couple of years ago because of bad experiences, but the ...

Bad food, old ship

Review for Carnival Conquest to Caribbean - Eastern

Carnival conquest-buffet was nasty, bbq nasty, blue iguana nasty. The only food worth the trip/money was renoir, guys burgers and then the pizza. And construction/repair projects the whole trip especially the last night heading home, starting at midnight, jackhammers until 5 or 6 am. Really. This was supposed to be a great full house cruise for my family. I mean the water slide was closed on the ...

Loyalty Program Pandemonium (Embarking and Disembarking

Passengers were kept lined up outside the entrance. Loyalty Program Protocols were ignored at the time of embarking and by Guest Services. Ports staff were very rude, as they attempt to keep people in line while blocking people who claimed to have special privileges based on Loyalty Program of the Cruise Line. Guest Services staff, seems to be unable to deal with issues related to Loyalty Program ...

Ports of call made up for the ship

The positive is that the ports of call we loved ... Amber cove and Grand Turk. Our cabin we had was a grand suite u98 . Room was clean and comfortable. Out cabin Stewart was great along with the dining staff . On the down side. Food on buffet was fair at best. Terrible selection. Dining room was hit or miss. 2 nights paid for an upgrade for surf and turf. One was good. The other was half the ...
