Carnival Romantic Cruises Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

An honest review of our 1st Carnival experience

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Sensation

This was our first Carnival experience. I did the research on this boat far ahead of time and knew exactly what I was getting myself and my family into. Having done several DCL and RCL cruises prior we had low expectations, but even this cruise was lower than I expected. Our embarkation experience was awesome as we did the Faster to the fun upgrade. We were checked in and on board Quickly. We were ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Breeze

This was our first cruise. We enjoyed the dinners and evening shows but were disappointed that there were no events or clubs aimed at the 18-20-year-old group. Our kids were too old for the 17 and under clubs and too young for the 21 and over bars and Serenity Club. The Hot tubs were very 'cool' on all the decks except the Serenity Club and my 18-year-old was not allowed to join me! The ...

Great Cruise but missing the attention to details

This cruise was chosen as a Christmas holiday cruise with the family and celebrating a 50th Birthday as well. There were 4 of us and we had optioned for 2 rooms. Overall the cruise was a fun getaway to some amazing ports of call. I will have to say embarkation and disembarkation was better than I ever could have imagined. We literally were off the ship and in the shuttle in under 30 minutes by ...

Christmas Cruise- Very Disappointed-Never Again

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sensation

We are are family of four and we cruise every Christmas and then some. This has to be our 6th Carnival cruise and we are rating it as one of our worst. We chose this particular 6 night cruise because we had time constraints. Embarking was almost foolproof, very organized and it took us less than 45 minutes to get onto the ship. The Sensation is a smaller ship than we are used to but that wasn’t ...

Old ship, terrible cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Sensation

We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit different islands for Christmas and we had not been to Turks & Caicos or to Half Moon Cay. This was the only option. I have done more than ten cruises in my life, but it was my first Carnival. NEVER AGAIN. The ship is old, the decoration is very tacky, the whole ship smells of mold, sweat and grease. The curtains had poke holes throughout the ship. ...

Just back from our Christmas cruise to the southern Caribbean. First time on the Magic and it was very enjoyable. Had a balcony cabin on deck 11 - our cabin steward serviced our room once per day - which was as we requested. Embarkation was perfect we arrived at the terminal at our stated appointment time and pretty much walked onto the ship. Rooms were available at 1:30pm and our luggage was ...

Large old ship that needs a lot of work

We chose this cruise because it sounded so good with the new makeover and refurbishment.Well after a month in Singapore to do all the work I don’t know what happened because when we got on the ship was in poor condition, the interior looks a lot like an old run down casino in Freeman st Las Vargas .Problems started from the minute we arrived at Boarding,it took 3 hours to get on the ship then at ...

Chose this cruise for a relaxing, quiet Christmas getaway. Could not have been more wrong. Boarding was short sharp and shiny. Stateroom was excellent, but that is where it ends. Parents unleashed an array of noisey, unruley brats on the the entire ship. Hygene supervision at the buffets was non existent, People were handling food with their hands, tasting it and returning it to the ...

One of my least favorite cruises due to poor quality food and old ship

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

I will start off saying that I am a highly experienced cruiser having sailed on most of the cruise lines. I booked this sailing because I never sailed out of Charleston and wanted to do something pre-Christmas. The port was very easy to get to from the airport. There's actually two buses that will take you to downtown from the airport where you can walk a short distance to the port. The express ...

Carnival Dream, not so much.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

The start of the day was great on ship. We loaded and was able to grab lunch and walk around awhile in a calm quiet setting. Until the rest of the quest boarded. It was so crowded and very hard to get a table during meal times due to so many ppl. The lines were long and the service was not that friendly. Most servers served your food without making eye contact and without smiling. Most didn’t even ...
