This was the first cruise back since Covid started. We Were on the last cruise from Baltimore. The cruise personnel were fantastic. They appear to be REALY happy to be on board and excited to see us. Several of the crew even recognized us an went out of their way to personally welcome us back. The embarkation went smoothly. There were a few changes to the procedure such as no mass safety ...

Wow, the check in process is soooo much better now! Well done! This was our second time on the Pride and 12th Carnival cruise, this was the first cruise back for the Pride since the Covid Pandemic. The food and service were sub par compared to prior to the pandemic. It did improve day by day. Wearing a mask was not fun but made it work. The ship and destinations were still top notch although ...

I booked this cruise because it went out of Baltimore and it was the best deal I could find. I had very low expectations, and just wanted to get away for a week with my family, see some new places, and not have to cook or clean. The Carnival Pride surpassed my expectations in every way. The musicals at night were awesome. Our cabin was perfect. My kids had so much fun in the pool and doing the ...

I booked this cruise last minute, 3 weeks prior to our sail date. I was traveling with my best friend (it was her first cruise) and my 2 sons. My first Carnival cruise was on the Horizon last summer, June 2018... I was not impressed.. quality of food was awful and no one ever cleaned anything, sanitizers always empty. Same for Carnival Sunshine.. Empty hand sanitizer for days. Sub-par food. Dirty ...

We truly enjoyed everything about our cruise! The cruise director was fun and engaging. The activities kept us entertained. The food was tasty and our steward went above and beyond. The ship was very clean and we constantly saw people picking up and straightening. The cabin could have been a little bigger but I feel that way about all ships. There were plenty of food options and the ...

Carnival still a great ship, despite her age and decor.

This cruise 12/01 to 12/08/2019 was selected as it was a Carnival Player Club (casino) cruise.I still look at the Carnival Pride with you eyes, yes she has dated decor and the elevator floor numbers are recessed so they are hard to see, but she is still "ship shape". Embarkment: about a half hour wait, but as a "priority" passenger, I had a separate seating area and we boarded first. The ...

This was our 29th cruise (5th on Carnival) and since we live close to Baltimore we take a Carnival cruise every couple of years. We were cut short a day due to a storm prohibiting the previous cruise from returning to port. Upgraded to Vista Suite for the first time mainly for the wrap around balcony and the separate bedroom. While it had a nice bathroom with double vanities and a huge tub with ...

Great relaxing cruise with excellent excursions!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Pride

We chose Carnival Pride because the departure city of Baltimore is about an hour away, so no airfare required. Drove to the harbor and had to wait maybe 20 minutes for luggage drop-off and parking. Check-in went quickly at our appointed time. The walk up the gangplank is a bit of a hike if you're out of shape and lugging much carry-on. We splurged on this cruise because we were celebrating our ...

We choose this cruise since it was leaving from Baltimore, which is only 3 hours from our home and we wanted one that went over Spring break Our Steward, Rowena, was wonderful and had such a sweet personality. She was so very responsive to our every concern. We were in room 6246 and 6252 on the Carnival Pride the week of 3/31 to 4/7/19. The ship was very clean and everyone was very helpful both ...

Great for relaxing

I chose this cruise because I live in MD and it was easy to get to port. Took my mother for a girls trip to relax and get away from the snow. The ship just had its upgrade to add Guys Burgers etc. The food was good in the dinning room, great in the steakhouse, and average in the buffet. Service was great, we loved our serving team in the main dinning room (Gabriel, Eko, and Braz). I recommend them ...
