We were big Carnival fans but then they got greedy and service and quality went down to the basement. But we came back last year and things had improved-not much but somewhat On the Pride the service was excellent everywhere we went. Our cabin steward Yasa was fantastic. we had cruised with him before on Carnival. He exceeded all expectations of service and being just a great guy.

My first attempt at a cruise review after 4 cruises. We were to leave Baltimore on September 9, 2018 for Bermuda. Because of Hurricane Florence we were rerouted to the Bahamas. Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Freeport. We cruised to those islands in 2011. I will give you some updates on changes I noticed on this cruise since our last cruise in 2016..
MY OBSERVATIONS:
PARKING LOT: There ...

This is our 6th Carnival cruise and the 4th on the Pride. We love the Carnival Spirt Class ships. From the layout to the capacity. This cruise was sold out and we never felt crowded or have to wait long for anything except Muster and debarkation which is normal.
The cruise terminal staff was quick and had us onboard in less than 20 minutes. Once we left the ship we were back in our ...
I can't say enough good things about the cruise my DH and I took to celebrate our 25th anniversary on the Carnival Pride. From the accommodations, to the friendly crew, to the Carnival Excursions, the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. This was only our second cruise (first back in 1999), but we've already booked 2 more! We boarded the ship in Baltimore - such an easy boarding ...
We had a great time on our 25th anniversary cruise. We had a balcony stateroom on the 4th deck aft starboard side - very convenient for getting to the 2nd deck where all of the action was. This cruise's schedule was disrupted by Tropical Storm Karl - but Carnival did a good job of keeping us up to date on the changes.
Things we really enjoyed:
Alchemy Bar - we first saw this on our last ...
My husband and I returned to Bermuda where we celebrated our Honeymoon almost 23 years ago. We had sailed on the Pride to the Bahamas and then the ship went into dry dock to revamp. So we decided to see what changes they made and booked the Bermuda trip.We left Baltimore with out any problems. I had purchased the Faster to the Fun option for the first time and I have to say it was worth the money. ...
My wife and I sailed on the Carnival Pride on Apr. 22, 2012 from Baltimore. The following is my review of the cruise.
Embarkation-We arrived at the port around 2:30PM. There was no wait checking in and we were on the ship by 2:45. The stateroom was ready so we dropped off our carry on luggage and explored the ship. Suit cases arrived by the time the muster drill was over.
Ship- The Pride is a ...
Since the Carnival Pride cruises to Bermuda only once a year (or maybe never again since the Splendor is going there next year), I'll just give some points/observations re' our cruise + the ship and a hint of our Bermuda activities.
We arrived in Baltimore a day early to stay @ the Days Inn in Glen Burnie. We had a "package deal" (from STAY123.com) that includes a night's stay, parking @ the ...
So here's my take on the 4/22 Carnival Pride cruise to Bermuda.
Embarkation: Baltimore has it down to a science. We arrived during a torrential downpour a little after noon, dropped our bags off with the porter and got inside. We were in the security line and for the next hour we moved quickly and by 1:30 we were on the ship. Everyone working during the embarkation process was very pleasant ...
