Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Pride

I have cruised on Carnival 9 times and this was the 2nd to worst cruise. The activities were lacking, the assistant wait staff was poor for the first few days and one Alchemy Bartender was really rude and not customer friendly. On the other hand our cabin steward Rommel was an awesome professional, our waiter Mehmet was the saving grace and the lobby bartender Katherine was the best ...

We went with two other couples and chose this crew as we are from Pittsburgh and Baltimore is only 3.5 hours drive. This was the first cruise for my husband and my first cruise on Carnival. My last cruise was about 10 years ago on a different cruise lin and I was interested to see what had changed since I had last cruised. Pros: - We loved our stateroom with a balcony. We were midship ...

Another Nice Cruise on Carnival Pride

We live in Pennsylvania, so when we want a nice cruise in February or March we choose Carnival Pride specifically because it sails from Baltimore. We go to Baltimore a day ahead of time, stay at a hotel, and take advantage of a Park & Cruise package. We weren't looking for a specific itinerary. As long as the weather is warmer and the ports are pleasing to the eye, we go. We actually love sea ...

Room was terrible; staff are just ok; it's a party ship

We chose this cruise because it disembarks out of Baltimore and it was easy to get to. This is why I'm giving it 2 stars: 1. Our room had a squeaky bunkbed that squeaked all night long; a really LOUD shrieking non-stop sound. The only way we could get it to die down, was by jamming stuff in the wall where the bunkbed frame was secured against the wall. Staff came about 3 times and could ...

My husband and I went with another couple to the Bahamas on Carnival Pride March 10, 2019. We were super impressed with how clean the ship was. Staff seemed to be cleaning all the time. Our steward was Rommell and kept our suite clean twice a day. The main dining room food was better than any 5 star restaurant! The filet mignon was AMAZING! We ate at buffets most mornings. As a pizza lover I was ...

After sailing on the Pride last March and having a great time we decided to do it again. We had Faster to the Fun and after arriving around 12 we were having a Guy Fieri burger which were great around 12:30. Smooth and easy embarkation. After a quick walk around the ship, we ended up in the Red Frog Pub having our first cocktail of the cruise ( a fish bowl that was a half price special...great ...

I chose this cruise because I live in MD and it was easy to get to port. Took my mother for a girls trip to relax and get away from the snow. The ship just had its upgrade to add Guys Burgers etc. The food was good in the dinning room, great in the steakhouse, and average in the buffet. Service was great, we loved our serving team in the main dinning room (Gabriel, Eko, and Braz). I recommend them ...

We chose this cruise because Baltimore is the closest port and I dont fly. Embarkation was easy enough get your paperwork etc. Then kinda walk around the boat and wait on the suitcases to arrive at the rooms. I've only ever been on the Pride (3 times now) and it has always been clean and in top shape. Wake up in the mornings get some breakfast, go to the gym, then look over the pamphlet of ...
