This was a family trip with my Dad and Sister. Every bit of it was perfect. I enjoyed the serenity pool and hot tub. My room steward was very nice and prompt. The room was clean and comfortable. Best sleep I've had in a very long time. I wanted to take the mattress home. The shows were very good...we saw movies on the deck, comedy shows and variety shows. I was unable to book any ...

Great first cruise with preschooler

My daughter and I went on this cruise because I had not been vacation in five years and to celebrate by 40th. After much research I figured a cruise was my best bet because they have a camp on board where I could leave my daughter if I wanted some adult alone time. First, embarkation was not what I expected. We arrived before our scheduled arrival time and were waiting around when an older ...

Our family chose this cruise to celebrate my mother’s retirement. This was a great get away for all of us. We ranged in age from 8 to mid 60’s and there was definitely something for everyone to enjoy! This was my third Carnival Cruise, and by far, the best one! Dr.E and the Fun Crew made us all laugh, and it was s easy to love Dr.E- his personality is infectious (he is quite talented as well). ...

FTTF totally worth it!

We chose this cruise, after being on 7 different ones, because of the close proximity to where we live...went with in laws who don't like flying and a fairly easy four hour drive. First off, FTTF gave us the FASTEST embarkation of all other cruises...if we waited ten minutes to board, after checking in for sailaway card, I'd be surprised. This was true also of disembarkation...we were given a ...

Very old and tired

This ship needs a complete overhaul. Bright work worn and battered. Upholstry throughout tattered and/or stained. Food not acceptable; lacked taste, although presentation good. Service insufficient. Wait staff good but slow. Bar tenders for the most part good but some down right unpleasant. Appears the number of wait staff was kept below required for the number of passingers. Save money ...

I dont think any cruise with toddler is going to be relaxing, but it certainly was fun! We were asked to go on this cruise by my parents and certainly werent going to say no. We have never been on Carnival before, but Royal Caribbean several times The embarkation process was as smooth as it could be. We had Faster to the Fun and were dropping off our carry on luggage within an hour of ...

From start to finish--very good cruise

We picked this cruise mainly for the departure port (near our home in Baltimore) as well as the time of year when we had available vacation. That said, I can provide a decent summary of a lot of things that might help folks: - Leaving on a Sunday makes getting to the terminal, parking and embarkation much easier in my opinion. If you opt for Saturday departures or mid-week traffic could ...

This was a wonderful experience for my Family....the Children experienced their first cruise and were able to take advantage of all of the things that were fun for them. The diversity of programs throughout the day were the best! Sitting every night at the dining table and choosing new eating experiences was so good, No ipads....good conversations. Had a blast!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Pride

I took my very first cruise on Carnival Pride out of Baltimore to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Freeport. I had a blast. I had a Ocean View room on the first floor 1212. I was surprised I expected a smaller room and a small bathroom. Being a plus size woman I fit perfectly in the shower. I had a large view of the Ocean. I had an awesome Steward who did anything we asked and got whatever was ...
