(275 sq. ft., balcony 85 sq. ft.) Private balcony. Two twin beds (convertible to king-size bed). Sitting area consisting of sofa, armchair and coffee table. TV with A/V input plate; telephone; 110 AC current; individual climate control; wall safe; 2 large closets; walk-in dressing area with vanity table and chair; full bathroom with shower/whirlpool tub and double sinks; hair dryer; mini bar. Balcony: Patio chairs and table.
We loved our room. Nothing negative to say about it. There was so much space for 2 people. We've had an inside room and an ocean view room before, but never a suite. So worth it. Also worth it for the Priority Embarkation and Debarkation, which comes with the suite. We also had a free load of laundry done for us.
The bed was extremely comfortable, the balcony was huge. It had 3 chairs, a lounge chair and a table. We loved having a private sunrise or sunset (depending on which way we were traveling.) We had room service deliver a carafe of coffee each morning, which was a great way to start the day, having coffee on the balcony in the fresh ocean air. It doesn't get any better than that.
The room came with a jacuzzi tub, but we never used it. We did like having a full-size tub though. And 2 sinks. The separate dressing room was an added bonus. And there was so much closet space. The fridge worked great too.
Highly recommend upgrading if you get a chance, it was so worth it. Read entire member review >>
My definition of a suite is two or more separate areas (sitting and sleeping at a minimum), but Carnival ocean suites are just larger rooms with larger bathrooms and bathrooms. The double sinks, and granite counters and tile surrounding the jetted tub is a significant upgrade from the standard rooms. The balcony had room for 4 chairs, and a table so we the whole family was able to spend some time out there. For groups of 4 people, this is the best way to cruise. The extra closets and chest of drawers ensured that all of us had plenty of storage for clothes. Read entire member review >>
Ocean suite cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Very spacious even with the bed set up. The double sinks and extra storage space was great. Plenty of room to unpack everything and put the suitcases under the bed out of the way. The balcony was large with two lounge chairs, 3 regular chairs, and two side tables. Very clean updated room. No complaints. Read entire member review >>

Lots of room for three. The room is rated for four, with the fourth bed dropping down above the sofa bed. With three in the room we had plenty of personal space. We didn't come close to using all the available storage space. My wife loved the vanity area (now she wants one at home). The large balcony was great. Three chairs, one recliner, and two tables and there was still lots of space to get around each other. The only down points were the jet tub and the privacy door to the vanity. The jet tub had a louver missing (sprayed water everywhere), and the door to the vanity area was screwed open for some reason. Bed was comfortable, plenty of lighting, lots of storage, small fridge, safe, and the large balcony. Read entire member review >>
Cabins were very nice. Refrigerator did not work well in any of your cabins nothing got cold, which was not good for certain medications. Had to constantly get ice from our steward so we could keep soda and water bottles cold. Read entire member review >>
Well appointed with comfortably hard beds and soft linens. If you can afford it I highly recommend the spaciousness of the cabin and balcony of the Ocean Suite. Don't forget to bring hair conditioner and hand lotion if you typically use them. Only soap, shower gel and shampoo are provided. The bathrobes were great! Read entire member review >>
This was a nice suite, albeit with a few issues. For instance, who decided a stationary shower door on the end of the soaking tub where the faucets are was a good plan?? You have to get into the tub to turn the water on to fill it for the whirlpool feature! DUH! Read entire member review >>
Beyond spacious - lots of closet space, drawers - 2 separate closets and a desk. There was even a dressing area with a set of drawers, a stool and a three sided mirror. Bathroom was spacious and had storage area there too. Two sinks.
Balcony was generous, fits 4 chairs, 2 tables and a chaise lounge. Downside - looks down onto top of a tender stored next deck down.
Bed - really really firm.
Cabin was amidships, so there was some engine vibration especially at slower speeds.
Virtually no soundproofing between rooms. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was very roomy. It was nice to have the bigger balcony, 3 chairs, a lounger and 2 tables. The only downfall was the vibration. Last time we had a balcony midship and this room being aft had quite a bit of vibration. It wasn't enough to ruin our sleep or anything but we did have to make adjustments like towels stuffed in between certain doors to keep the rattle down. The bathroom was huge, 2 sinks, jetted tub, shower, shelves and small cabinet. Read entire member review >>
Interestingly, we were in a Junior Suite (4325) on the last trip on the Pride. That cabin is actually significantly larger than the OS we booked. But, the OS was excellent. Cabin Steward, Hengky, was there whenever we needed him. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Read entire member review >>
We were in ocean suite 6327, a great room with tons of space and a large balcony. We had plenty of storage space, in fact there were two big closets in the main room area that we didn't use except to hang damp clothes out of the way. The balcony had 3 chairs, a lounger, and two small tables. Very nice and easy to move things around to adapt to your needs. The decor is the same white covers with that gold thing across the feet. Kind of dated but still nice looking. Being at the back of the ship was new to us. We usually kept right on the border of aft and midship to be close to elevators, but we thought we'd try out the aft. Our room vibrated. Not sure how else to say it, but it vibrated 24/7. The closet doors rattled together and I had to shove a slipper between so I could sleep. The glasses on the shelf rattled together. Ceiling panels rattled. The door to the balcony rattled. I am a very light sleeper and I was irritated. I knew that there was nothing that they could do but move us and I found out the ship was full. So....
Maybe it was a mechanical thing that they were able to fix, maybe you are looking for a room with the old magic fingers touch. Just my experience. Read entire member review >>
The room A/C could not get the room cool. I was told that 74F is normal and that was the best it could do. I sweated all night. They worked on it several times but it just got worse. The suite was very nice, the balcony was large and the views were great. it was a very quiet room, never heard the people on either side of us. The biggest problem was the water in the bathroom. Our tub when filled was brown and smelled funny, like sewage. The shower sprayed the same brownish water and the towels turned brown when we dried off. The sinks spewed the same dung. I was afraid to shower or drink the water. Carnival sent a plumber many times but could not fix it. We were told to run the water for 15 minutes before getting in, we did and it was still brown and left a nasty ring around the tub.. Why they did not move us to another room is beyond me. In the end they gave us $200 credit on our on board charge and 10% off future cruise. The room cost me $800 more for the suite. Does not add up to me but that is Carnival. The King bed kept sliding apart during the night but was comfortable. The TV when turned on came on their channel very loud and the remote was hard to use. Apart from the water and the a/c it was a nice room. Read entire member review >>
I couldn't have asked for a better cabin. Our only issue was the jacuzzi tub. The button wasn't working to turn it on, but that was due to a power surge on the ship. It actually came on with no water it when we were sleeping. Our Steward took care of the issue in a snap. He was a lovely man from India named Joaquim. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant man to take care of us for a week. The bathroom in the OS was huge lol. I had so much room to get ready. I also had 4 closets. 4 closets on a cruise ship!!!! Awesome! I would book this suite over and over. Read entire member review >>
We were mid ship empress deck in room 6197 Ocean Suite. It was nothing short of fantastic. Our room steward was great, the room was very clean, slightly out dated but very clean. The balcony had some of the best views. We chose a balcony room because my wife and I are early risers and like to sit and drink coffee and chat about goings on. We would order our coffee from room service for two and they would deliver in 15 minutes. Food for snack any time during the day took about 30 to 35 minutes. I suspect the galley was more busy at these times and we prepared ourselves for the time. If you ask my daughter she will tell you it took hours. The kids were roomed on a lower deck than ours, so my daughter would come up to our room and order. I promise you right now, it did not arrive any faster. They really do a great job. I would recommend a mid ship room to any one, whether you get a balcony or not. These rooms are very easy access to the two main sets of elevators. This gives you easy access to the entire ship. We stayed in Cabin 6166. Great balcony -- although they could have washed the balcony better and vacuumed up the sand in the crevices. Though the balcony blocks you off from your neighboring cabins you can still hear very clearly and see through the milky white dividers. Great closet and drawer space, great view...kids would occasionally run down the hallway -- this happened mostly on the last evening at sea. We paid a lot for this Ocean Suite -- it has a jacuzzi tub -- my daughter is the only one who utilized the jacuzzi -- after she was out there was an orange ring around the whole tub -- yuck! The cleaning staff did clean it up with the evening cleaning. I liked the deck we were on but save some money and don't go with the Ocean Suite -- it's overpriced. Read entire member review >>
We loved our cabin. We thought the jacuzzi would be bigger. Would rather have sliding doors to the balcony rather than a regular door so we could leave it open at night to hear the ocean. Our room attendant Pablo was the greatest. Our room was always clean and freshened when we returned during the day. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was 6166. Was very roomy and pleasant. Balcony was roomy- 3 chairs a table and chaise. Balcony door whistled Needs some weather stripping. Lots of drawers and closet space and ample hangers. Couldn't ask for a more spacious room. Read entire member review >>
