I have been on at least 20 cruises. This is the darkest ship I have ever been on. I think part of the problem in the buffet is that the ceilings are painted a dark color. There are several places around the ship that seem really dark. I had a great cabin steward and Ronnie my waiter in the dining room was very good. Plenty of games and such during the day, although I do wish there was more ...

Carnival still a great ship, despite her age and decor.

This cruise 12/01 to 12/08/2019 was selected as it was a Carnival Player Club (casino) cruise.I still look at the Carnival Pride with you eyes, yes she has dated decor and the elevator floor numbers are recessed so they are hard to see, but she is still "ship shape". Embarkment: about a half hour wait, but as a "priority" passenger, I had a separate seating area and we boarded first. The ...

Chose this cruise because the port is 20 minutes from home. Been on many cruises and this was the 3rd time on the pride. It will be our last. The ship needs to be placed in dry dock for a complete refurbish. Many areas are rundown and rusty. Windows are filthy. On other ships, I would see crew cleaning external areas while we were in port. Never saw this on the pride. The food has gone ...

Everything was horrible

Don’t know where to start. Entertainment director was very disorganized. No one could understand him. He did not set up good activities. It was a total chaos on the ship. People were boarding on and off whenever they want. They initially provided the time to each deck but people were getting off whenever they want to. Staff was extremely rude and impolite. Food was horrible, lines were extremely ...

Embarkation and disembarkation were organized and fast. There were so many check points at embarkation but it was fast considering the amount of people boarding. The ship was not the new mega ships but I knew that coming in. The cabin was always clean and the bed was very comfortable. I love the interior cabin with the obstructed window. It was an affortable price and I could still see the ocean. ...

This was our 4th time sailing the Pride, but the first time since they renovated and added the new water slides etc. From past experience and having sailed Disney, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean (15 in total) we had realistic expectations for this cruise and walked away feeling relaxed, happy and that we made the right decision. Traveling with 4 kids under the age of 13 can get expensive so we ...

Carnival Pride is affordable and let me see a part of the world I thought I would never see! Carnival made our 7 day Bahamas trip so great. The food was fresh and always available, the entertainment consisted of comedians, mega deck parties, musicals, arts and crafts, dinner wait staff dancers, and I can’t say enough to brag on the staff, they were so friendly and worked so hard to ensure we had ...

The Carnival Pride is my favorite ship and not just because she conveniently docks in Baltimore. I love the layout and the variety of public areas. (I've spent a total of 45 nights across five cruises on her now.) With venues like the Card Room, Library, Chapel and Sunset Garden, you can always find a quite place to sit. I have always been pleased with the service on the Pride. And, on ...

My wife and I just came back from a 14 day (Nov. 4th thru 18th) Carnival Journey cruise out of Baltimore on the Pride. We stopped at: Grand Turk, Aruba, Curacao, Bermuda, St. Lucia, and St. Martin. We had a fantastic time. We booked an interior room on the 8th floor right below the food court (it's like having the world's best kitchen just up the stairs!). The room was large, comfortable, and ...
