Carnival Port Canaveral (Orlando) Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

We chose this cruise because of dates, location, and itinerary. The Carnival Magic appeared very run down. Lots of rust and flaking paint. Our cabin with balcony was fine. Lido deck was fine. The main issue is Carnival taking the "magic" out of the dining room experience at night. We have cruised over 25 years and have seen a steady decline in that experience. Tablecloths and multiple ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Freedom

My husband and I had booked this cruise last year but due to the boat catching fire, it was canceled and refunded and a free cruise was given to use before May of 2023. We chose to do the freedom. This is our first carnival cruise but not our first cruise. The staff was friendly for the most part but not exceptionally friendly and we did tip in addition to pre paid gratuities. Our room steward, ...

Carnival Shows Just How Cheap It Can Get

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Magic

We chose the Carnival Magic for the itinerary which included the Southern Caribbean islands of Aruba and Bonaire. It hadn't been an issue on previous cruises, but this cruise was short on entertainment during the day. We could only play so many trivia games before deciding to seek a more port-intensive cruise in the future. Trying to sit by the pool was useless. The passengers were up first ...

Cruise on a well-worn ship.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

We did a back-to-back on this ship for the itinerary, southern Caribbean. Number one this ship is definitely showing it's age. Rust all over the place, seating in the buffet needs replacing, and doors not shutting correctly or broken. We had a cove balcony which we normally love, but on this cruise, they decided to paint the lifeboat stanchions and we had paint chips raining down on us, and ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Mardi Gras

This was our first cruise since COVID started, and we wanted to go back on Carnival because that was the first cruise we had on our honeymoon 5 years prior. We had finished 3 cruises at that point with the 3 major lines, Carnival, RC, and NCL. My expectations were that because this was a newer ship with Carnival that there would be lots to do, and that we'd get to try a bunch of new restaurants. ...

Looking tired, ship needs to be refreshed

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

I love causing the Carnival. That being said, I can not recommend anyone to sail on the Magic until the ship is refreshed during drydock. The showtime theater cushions on the chairs are worn thin and need to be replaced. The cushions on the clam shells, beds, and loungers need to be replaced as they are worn down and look shabby. Some of the heat chairs in Spa 9 were brown and there are lots of ...

Less than expected

Chose CCL Magic cruising to east Caribbean to use FCC from multiple delays for CCL Mardi Gras with two (2) daughters. Personnel on ship were friendly, courteous and efficient. However, the food choices were lacking, ie., one night the everyday striploin steak had no flavor whatsoever. The ship had the new CCL hull paint scheme but so many areas around each balcony cabin and deck areas were covered ...

Mediocre trip on a trashy cruise line

We hadn't cruised in 10 years and have been looking at getting back into it. We've previously cruised as a couple on RCL and HAL. We're an early 40s married couple. We booked this 4 night mid-week trip to give Carnival a try. Never again! Everything about the ship was aggressively mediocre. Cleanliness was pretty bad (I love picking balls of ground-in blonde hair from my stateroom floor, and ...

Love Carnival, but staffing issues

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

We love cruising with Carnival, unfortunately, staffing shortages were quite evident. Food was still good in the dining room, and the smokehouse was delicious. The pizza is not what it was before. We often waited 20 minutes for a drink, even a simple beer. The dining room also seemed short-staffed, we often did not get water refilled, and one night we were there for 2 hours for dinner. The ...

We have taken a family Chrismas cruise for many years the daughters can only get away from work for a short time. The food was great really enjoyed the fabulous cuisine. Our room was kept spic and span, the ship was beautiful really nicely set up, service the best as always with the cruise ship industry. Muy dissapointment comes with the lack of croud control, young people running up and down ...
