Our porthole stateroom on the Riviera Deck was near the bow. The carpet and furnishings were in excellent condition. The bathroom sink and shower were also in great condition. The shower curtain tended to drift into the shower. The water pressure was outstanding, and very hot (the warnings in the bathroom about scalding should be taken seriously). Our room steward did a great job keeping the room fresh while we were away having fun. A towel animal made an appearance every day. There was excessive noise and vibration overnight after leaving Cozumel and on the sea day. It sounded/felt like a heavy metal door being slammed below our cabin two or three times each minute. I assume these were waves hitting our side of the ship since we did not hear the noise the first three days. Read Less

This was one of my favorite rooms (and I am including a balcony room on Norwegian in this). The room was so spacious! You can utilize the shelf of the porthole for Storage! I kept all of my belongings here, aside from makeup, hair, and other bathroom belongings. All of my folded clothes, shoes, trinkets, etc fit here. Room was clean. Housekeeping was excellent. I was provided a mattress topper and fan at my request. My only complaint is it was often Rocky and there were certain times there was noise beneath us from the ship. Read Less

This particular cabin is our favorite (and its corresponding even number) due to its layout and larger shower area. The safe is a problem (if not used) since the safe door interferes with the cabin door. Solution.....use the safe. Our cabin steward was there, always available (and present)with no issues. The usual complaint....there is only the one 110Volt power outlet, and it's at the desk. A definite plus is the addition of several USB ports which are great for recharging your devices (phone, tablets, etc) Read Less

I paid for a guaranteed room (the cheapest) so we were expecting an interior room. We were pleasantly surprised to get the porthole cabin. The portholes aren't very big, but natural light is always a good thing. Another surprising thing was that the room was huge. It was the biggest room we have ever had on a cruise (we usually get interior and sometimes obstructed view). Sagi, our steward did a great job, everything was always just as it should be, I didn't have to ask for anything. Read Less
